Bluebellkit

Bluebellkit is much more like his mother, Hawthornetail, than just appearance. Shy and quiet, Bluebellkit is a bit of a scaredy cat when it comes to new things. He'd rather hide behind his father Cottonpatch than face whatever it was. Nonetheless, when he does open up, he's often left in wonder. Bluebellkit is excited to be an apprentice; less so to learn to hunt and fight, but to see the world outside of the camp. Unlike his twin brother, Bluebellkit tries to stay away from trouble, but often gets dragged along into Mallowkit's antics regardless. Bluebellkit has a lot of growing up to do, but no one doubts that he will become a kind and respectable warrior.

Leafkit

Mothers: Buttercupheart, Orchidrose

Sister: Hollyhockkit

Like her namesake, Leafkit appears soft and quiet, but has some sharp edges to her. She's still young, and isn't quite sure of her place in the Clan yet, so she takes in what everyone else says about her wholeheartedly. If her parents say she could be a fast runner, Leafkit will practice running circles around the camp. If Hollyhockkit, her sister and best friend, says she talks too much, Leafkit will think before she speaks. She's very gullible to what others tell her, and can be too innocent for her own good. Luckily, her family is quite protective and tries to keep her focused on the present. Leafkit is easily affected by her emotions, but once she finds her place in SeedClan, she'll surely serve them well.

Hollyhockkit

Sister: Leafkit

Hollyhockkit is an intelligent cat, yet is often too in her head to show it. An avid daydreamer, her own goals in life conflict with what is expected of her by her parents. Her naturally bulky stature leads her mothers to expect Hollyhockkit to one day be a great warrior, but she’s less enthusiastic about it. She enjoys crafting trinkets and building in general, and would much rather live that way. Her sister, Leafkit, is more willing to live up to the expectations of her parents, and this doesn’t get in the way of their close bond. The two are inseparable, and despite bickering often, Hollyhockkit adores her sister. She often watches conflicts within her own Clan to understand how much of it works, and is interested in the inner workings of Clan life. One day she hopes to make some real changes in her Clan, but would much rather not be forced to fight to do this.

Orchidrose has always been seen as an outcast in her Clan. She’s more of an observer of the ins and outs of Clan life, rarely talking with anyone and keeping to themselves. Orchidrose had a troubling kithood, as she was deeply traumatized by losing their mentor in battle. The scar on her shoulder reminds them of the tragedy, never truly healing from it. But life goes on, and Orchidrose felt comforted by the companionship of her closest friend Buttercupheart, so much so that the two fell in love. They would never admit it, but their mate means a lot to them. Buttercupheart is the only cat Orchidrose is comfortable having physical contact with, and she’s proud of his accomplishments. As a mother, they’re very protective of their kits, and has big hopes for them as well. Orchidrose knows she was never able to reach her full potential do to many obstacles in her path, but they will do whatever they can to ensure their kits will.

Cottonpatch’s charisma can be felt in waves throughout the Clan. He’s as soft as his name implies, with a very friendly demeanor. Naturally, he always leaned towards becoming helpful in the nursery, but was urged by others to stay a warrior due to an ongoing issue with prey shortage. In a way, he’s grateful this happened, since he met Hawthornetail. The two naturally clicked, and became fast friends. Cottonpatch’s crush on them wasn’t subtle, and he made advances and flirted with the quieter cat. He tried to win their attention with little gifts of prey and trinkets, a tradition the two have kept since getting together. As time passed, Cottonpatch felt his yearning for a family grow, but never pressured his mate. He was content as they were, and was genuinely shocked when Hawthornetail was expecting. He loves their kit Periwinklepaw, but feels a deeper connection with their second litter. With the chance to raise the kits himself, Cottonpatch can finally fill the hole in his heart to raise new life. He doesn’t miss the life of a warrior as much as he thought he would, and puts his energy towards working with other queens to influence a new generation in a positive light. Cottonpatch takes his role very seriously, but it doesn’t stop him from a cheery feeling as he gets to raise his kits.

Originally born in BlazeClan and given to SeedClan very young, Foxglovepaw never had a choice in where she wanted to live. Her father, Butterflypounce, offered his only daughter to SeedClan to solve a dispute between the Clans, and a lot of pressure has been put on her shoulders ever since. Constantly trying to prove herself, Foxglovepaw spends hours training and perfecting her fighting skills just to fit in. She has a lot of promise, and truly believes she can be a great warrior and make SeedClan proud. Because of her focus on training, Foxglovepaw does not have time to spend with her Clanmates, even her mentor. Who exactly is training her, then? None other than the cat that gave her up, Butterflypounce. While he is a queen in BlazeClan, he has trained a great deal of BlazeClan warriors, and secretly helps his daughter to make up for what he’s done. Foxglovepaw is close and distant from her father at the same time; she appreciates his efforts to help her be the best, but she will likely never forgive him for surrendering her to SeedClan. The methods of battle in BlazeClan vary wildly from SeedClan’s, which make some of Foxglovepaw’s Clanmates suspicious of where her moves originate. Despite this, no cat can deny that Foxglovepaw is a promising young apprentice that may need some push away from training and into socializing.

Applepaw

Applepaw was not born into SeedClan; his parents were loners who were once good allies of SeedClan. A disgraceful event that no one is allowed to talk about left Apple in the care of the Clan, and he was apprenticed as Applepaw. Despite the closeness his parents had with the cats, Applepaw was distant and intentionally bothersome. He didn’t listen to any cat, and caused trouble for his Clanmates. The strange circumstance of his living in SeedClan doesn’t let them kick out Applepaw, so he takes advantage of this easily. He often goes out on his own to wander, and on one occasion, he found his Clanmate Rosepaw visiting housecats. While initially confrontational, Applepaw found that he enjoyed it as much as she did. The two became good friends, visiting the housecats and waning their worries for a short time. Applepaw views Rosepaw fondly, maybe even a bit of love for her. He’d never admit his crush to her, as he doesn’t want to ruin their friendship. Her presence forced him to behave a little more as an apprentice, so he could actually become a warrior. Applepaw may not feel accepted in SeedClan, but his devotion to Rosepaw makes him try to accept the life his parents wanted him to have.

Rosepaw has always been an outlier within her Clan, ever since she could speak. Her parents weren’t as close or loving as she needed them to be, and she resents them quite a bit for it. No cat really knows her true self, and mostly see her as quiet and lonely. Rosepaw prefers it this way, but can suffer from intense loneliness. She heard rumors of cats living with no worries and endless love, and it almost seemed too good to be true. Rosepaw learned about kittypets, and was able to visit on occasion. She was even given a collar, but Rosepaw hides it from her Clan and wears it for comfort mostly. Everyday is spent looking forward to going back to the kittypets, where her worries can be eased for just a little while. One day, she was caught by a Clanmate, Applepaw, whilst going there. He followed her, and found himself enamored with their lifestyle too. Rosepaw was a little taken aback that he suddenly intruded her life, but she can’t deny that some isolating habits back home has been mitigated by Applepaw. He’s the one cat she could consider a friend, and it’s assuring to her.
