ah, I should probably reblog this here since it's relevant to ponies, that is, the impending end of my pony career. of course since i dont think many people follow this blog without following my main, this could be really redundant, so i apologize. for those who do, you'd better jump ship soon because the sun is setting on the old Warmare. I mean this blog has been as active as a beached whale for like almost 2 years, but let's tie it to a neat little close. it's really been fun.

Aficionados of small oriental equines, listen up. This weekend is your last chance to get an order in for touhorse commissions. Come Monday, I will no longer accept new inquiries. These will be the end of touhorse and the finale of my pony phase…after this, I will be retiring the “Modern-Warmare” alias and abandoning the associated dA account. Oh, one more question that's almost Touhou-related. What are your thoughts on Len'en?

Absolutely shit-nothing since I hadn't heard of it before I just googled it. I really do not keep a finger on the pulse of the fandom, or even really participate in it as a whole. I know there's apparently a lot of fangames like Marine Benefit and that 3d one that people really get into but I don't keep track of that stuff whatsoever. Except maybe Komajou Densetsu, but they aren't making any more of those anyway.

Kind of crap timing, i’ll be reposting it tomorrow…but yes! now that I have an adorable feline second mouth to feed, I have to finally bite the bullet and roll out my drawing commissions. You can follow the link on this post for more info, or check out the new permanent link on the sidebar of my blog. I haven’t done too many of these since the heavily discounted touhorse ones, so a lot of these are waters i’m just venturing into for the first time…just be patient with me, don’t be afraid to offer crit or ask for clarification in the commission process, and we can get this all off to a good start. This is a scary and exciting thing, but I look forward to it! Spread the word if you can!

I usually don’t do plugs, but frankly this artist right here, Modern Warmare/Supahbeefcakes, is one of the coolest, most down-to-earth, talented, hardest-working artists I know and have the pleasure of calling a friend despite the fact that I don’t chat with her nearly as often as I should ; 3; and she makes some damned good art and custom ponies. If you want a well-made custom pony or just feel like supporting good artists, I wholeheartedly recommend checking her stuff out.

'Have any thoughts on DDC? Ponify anyone yet?

Man, I just finished coming up with ideas for TD! last major hurdle was whether or not to make Miko an alicorn because she's a Prince, but decided she would look too cluttered. Anyway, DDC was pretty neat. I liked all the talking furniture. Only real idea atm is to make Wakasagi a bona fide seahorse-style seapony as opposed to Nitori's hippocampus. Then if ZUN makes an actual seahorse youkai, I'll draw them as an amoeba. Just to keep things confusing.

It still blows my mind how absolutely talented you are when it came to the figures you made. And I won't even get started on your drawings. While it's sad to hear you won't be making figures anymore, it's still nice to look through the ones you have made (that Yukari is still fucking incredible). Not trying to sound like I'm kissing your ass here or anything, but I really am quite enamored with your work. It's good stuff!

Holy shit that’s such a sweet thing to say :D I’m glad you enjoyed my stuff for the past couple years! But from here on out it’s just 2d for me… Nevertheless, I shall keep trying to deliver, especially as I concentrate on non-pony stuff. Thanks for hanging around my part of town for almost 2 years!
