Byler and Mileven 04x09

I just watched binged season 4 (again), and I really just need to talk about this one part of the whole season which really leads me to believing byler being endgame.

The fact that Mileven wasn't really endgame for season 4.

Now, before you go "but yes it was", hear me out.

Why did the duffers make Mileven be so "awkward" after the love confession?

I mean, literally. When I first watched season 4 and saw Mike confessing, I just thought "oh, well there goes byler", but obviously changed my mind later on.

Wouldn't you expect Mileven to be perfectly normal and "unawkward" after Mike confessing?

I mean, for example:

During this scene, before Mike and Will talk, we're shown Will, Mike and El all cleaning inside, but it's just really quiet. Then, just to add to this tension, El leaves the room, into her old room, closing the door (obviously with the three inch door minimum). Afterwards, Mike tells Will that El hasn't talked to him much. It's obvious the writers want us to realize the tension in the room, also mentioning that the tension isn't between El and Will or Will and Mike, but instead between El and Mike.

Now would you call that a "completely obvious endgame"? Well, I wouldn't.

Now, it's obvious that Mileven is going downhill, but what about Byler?

Well, like I mentioned, after El leaves into her old room in hoppers cabin, Will and Mike share a conversation.

We're literally shown in the same scene that Mileven isn't going well, but Will and Mike are just growing closer and closer, being able to have these conversations more often.

Wouldn't you think that's a little bit suspicious?

Now lastly, we end this scene and season 4 with this shot:

Okay, that's it. BYLER ENDGAME. I mean COME ON. The pairings?? Jopper, Jancy and Byler. There is just literally no way this isn't made on purpose.
