Generally Mic was good at keeping his mask in place, at making sure he always came across upbeat, but having their students in danger yet again seemed to be his breaking point. He had simply shut down, his cheerful mask shattered and leaving his face blank as he pushed away the emotions to be dealt with later. Still, when he realized he was no longer alone in the teachers' lounge he tried to force a smile to his face. Though he was pretty sure it wasn't going to trick anyone.

"A bit, yeah." He aimed for his regular lilt, but was sure he failed that too.

Aizawa shoves him, by the hair, into the brick wall outside the bar. In the alley. He looked fuckin furious. "Don't you know the words 'fuck off'?"

The blond was rather pliant, head bouncing faintly off the wall simply because he'd not been aware enough to stop it from happening. But the anger was bitter on the back of his tongue and the darkness floated at the edge of his vision; he had fucked up.

Swallowing thickly, his smile was gone, face practically blank as he waited for Aizawa to tell him that he hated him. "I can't be that direct. Everyone knows me. I was just trying to avoid a scene." Or more ridicule in the papers about him. "I'm sorry..." His voice was small, and though he was taller than Aizawa, he was also slowly curling in on himself, shrinking slowly down against the wall.

A physical attack meant little to him, but the fear of losing the man he loved so very much made it hard to breathe. Heart pounding, he sank down to his knees, uncaring of whatever might be on the alley floor. "I'm sorry..."

So anyways Aizawa grabs Mic by his hair and drags him away from the woman at the bar who is flirting with him so hard even Aizawa can tell.

As much as he tried to gently turn people down at the bar, they didn't always get it. And this random redhead was refusing to take his refusals seriously. But before he could lose his patience and tell her to fuck off, though nicely since he was a Hero, Aizawa was suddenly stepping in.

He generally had his hair up, but tonight had just been about him and Aizawa so he'd left it down. Which meant that strong hand finding purchase in his hair and pulling at him just had his eyes rolling back and a deep moan rumbling in his throat. Teeth buzzing from the sound and the way his ability charged his voice even without his intention, he stumbled easily after Aizawa, mind fuzzed by the mix of emotions and the intensity of the hand in his hair.
