Chamber Coaching With Elissa Lee
- thema: play it like the easily hummable melody it is instead of playing rigid, metronomic and uptight. Stacatto-marked quarter and eights not too short.
- variation 1: longer stroke?? Imagine playing a half note for each bar… phrase your sixteenth notes this way! (Different from Tom in that he wants a crispier and spiky sound)
- variation 2: more viola!!! But still listen to the violins melody! Watch out for violins fp…
-variation 3: change the way you play the eights… phrase with the melody!
- variation 4: sextuplets overpowering bass line?
