“ An… android? ” The word came foreign, a tiny click of her tongue against the roof of her mouth. HAZEL hues soon began to glow with curiosity & caution, even as the other introduced herself; it was strange. Yet in the back of the huntress’s mind, it almost sounded METALLIC in nature. If anything were to prove her theory, her Focus would tell.
Quietly she brings an index towards the device on her ear, a light tap and soon she saw the holo-trace scan the subject: [ SCAN COMPLETE: ANDROID: Robotic or Synthetic organism that appears human. ] Eyes widen as she read the text, her tiny technology shedding more light that it was the truth.
“ You.. you’re a machine. ” her voice slightly shaken, though still in awe. “ But — why do you look like us? ”
consequent to the confusion swept `pon flecked visage ; ANDROID form remained stagnant , presumably awaiting some kind of recognition for her response .
it had been centuries since HUMANS came to interact with their ANDROID equivalent ; was it not so unusual to come across one without the judgement to make upon their own creation ? HUMANS had the ability to forget . their memories could not simply be stored , unlike that of a synthetic being . this was natural .
the mention of “ MACHINE ” fell stinging `pon drums — wishing to lash out , defend her title . she was not a MACHINE … at least , not one of THEM . mistakes were to be expected ; she was still a bucket of bolts, after all . that was a MACHINE .
❝ i’d much prefer the term “ ANDROID , ” aloy . i don’t wish to be associated with those murder bots .❞ she gestures a dismissive wave .❝ as for my appearance ; all ANDROIDS are modelled after their human creators .❞

I don’t quite know if this is referring to A2 or me ( the mun, ) but I’ll give an answer for both ?
A2 is a female model Android, so she uses she / her.
& I’m a girl, so I use she / her, also.I’m not too into the whole “Tumblr Gender” game. I was born a girl, so I am a girl. Probably dress too much like a boy, but it’s comfortable. I don’t really care if my gender is mistaken ( it’s happened before, ) so I’m not gonna get angry / offended because someone messes up. I’m chill with it all.┐( ˘ ､ ˘ )┌

speech fell from the wet of the synthetic muscle , but a mere whisper `neath delicacies of breath . though processors had grown old , they functioned at full speed . the name, HER name ; embedded within her mind . if she was to be addressed casually , they ANDROID would not convey disdain to her wishes .
❝ i am not HUMAN . ❞ the correction is swift , as if the comment itself was offensive — not to A2 herself , but rather the idea that she was pitted equal of HUMAN nature . ❝ i am an ANDROID . an ex - YoRHa unit ; A2 . ATTACKER model , TYPE - 2 . ❞
