Started watching The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. a few years too late and while I love all the characters, if I had to pick a friendship it would be these two idiots.

Whenever I watch a new thing I like to look up what the most popular tags and ships are which is how I found out Aren would be in the show several episodes before he even made an appearance. But after seeing him in action with Kaido I could not be more disappointed in the shippers. I know they visually fit the stereotypical yaoi seme/uke roles but I will accept nothing less than them switching because Aren wouldn’t care and Kaido would care way too much and feel like he had something to prove. Besides, a bizarre trope for delinquent male characters is that they’re always virgins.

Imagine if Kaido found out that dark reunion did exist but it was Saiki, like if he found out that Saiki was the one to spray paint the dark reunion logo on the wall of that empty classroom where that kid stole his homework and wallet, or if Kaido found out Saiki was the one who terrified that fake fortune teller into giving him a refund on that ripoff necklace by making her believe in the dark reunion.

What if Kaido realized the dark reunion was real but only existed to help him, only existed as protection between him and the person he wanted most to be his friend. What if Kaido knew the loner he saw a kinship with in the beginning of his 1st second year of high school knew all along that he wasn’t a real superhero but became the supervillain anyway to support him.

What if Kaido knew Saiki was the reason he got to have superpowers for a split second to defeat Murder Dragoram Snake?

What if dark reunion still was the thing that went bump in the night but protected Kaido from the harms in the light?

rewatching Saiki K got me thinking again

what if his 'inner thoughts'/narration and commentary to the audience, were actually what he was saying to everyone else?

bear with me i swear i have a point

so we've established that Saiki doesn't speak out loud (aside from the couple exceptions, usually when he's caught off guard), he telepathically sends what he wants to say to whoever he wants to say it to, and creates the illusion that his mouth is moving. seems like more work than actually speak but whatever

i think this is quite often treated in headcanon and fanfic that he doesn't talk to anyone at all (obviously write and headcanon however you want to), but i always went under the assumption he does speak, just doesn't initiate conversation. there are definitely times where he's clearly speaking to someone, not just the audience, mainly when talking to his parents, but also definitely sometimes with friends too.

this then presents my headcanon, that whenever he has his witty commentary to the audience while another person is talking to him, he's talking to them too, and just doesn't care

it takes 'oh Saiki's a quiet kid who's secretly harbouring rage and annoyance at everyone around him' to 'Saiki is openly a jerk to everyone and talks about having powers a lot but they all just think he's joking and don't take notice of what he says'

which makes some of his lines a whole lot funnier if you consider he's deadpan saying it to their face

"are you a first grader?"

"wanna throw down, punk?" (one of my favourite lines)

"Girls are as plentiful as the stars in the sky, and equally as out of reach for you"

"so you're basically a fan blade now?"

"there's a harem cliche for you"

"wait... PURGE ME!"

"i know that butt."

"Are you a god?"

"I'd rather fall to my death than go on a date with you"

there's definitely more lines that refer to his powers and some funnier stuff, feel free to add on your favs!

What if Wesker was a BOW from the start and human-like BOW's were a part of society now?

He's trying very hard to be a good captain but there is a lot of prejudice for BOW's since most of them are very dangerous :')

Also all of the stars members have some kind of a bad reputation and Wesker is trying to find people who can join his team since nobody wants to be in his team

Might be a bit out of character but kusuo and akechi having hours long conversations, most of it is just akechi yapping but kusuo will occasionally chime in, they both know a bunch of information bout random things and they love sharing it between each other (granted kusuo won’t admit it) furthermore sometimes they just stand during the conversations, like they’ll be in ku’s room and they’re just standing in the middle of it chatting instead of just sitting

A little while ago I made a post bout kusuo being autistic and how him and his family doesn’t realise that he’s autistic cuz they just chalk all of his behaviours up to him being psychic but what if it was the opposite for his friends, they know that he’s autistic but chalks all of his psychic powers up to him being autistic, like oh he just randomly disappeared?
