Like many organisations during lockdown, Vers Libre has had (too much!) downtime. EKKO x Vers Libre - Hytta Radio live from Bergens electronic music festival

Live radio from a small cabin in the middle of Bergen city centre was too good an opportunity to pass up.

When Norwegian electronic music festival EKKO asked us to broadcast throughout their festival week, our reply was an emphatic 'yes'. And so Hytta Radio was born, Hytta meaning as 'Cabin', essentially a cosy place where people go to escape and relax.

A selection of local Norwegian DJs, and EKKO artists dropped in to play live in the lead up to, and during EKKO 2019. This combined with artist interviews, and daily updates from EKKO festival producer Johanne Øra Danielsen made for a comprehensive cross section of this years festival.
