fluff, angst, slow burn stories over smut in this fandom everytime. I can't stand the way it's written like at all it's so??? the stuttering and the word choices are so horrid I can't deal with it.

I Think Its Fair to Say the Fandom Is Tired of Smut.

Continuing the trend of me ranting about the fandom because I hate most of y'all. I may be the most hated person in the fandom, and I'm pretty proud of it, 'cause I'm hated by all the wrong people, anyway.

So, I've noticed that my fluff fics (with just the tiniest of spice, even if the "act" is mostly implied), get more attention than the full-on smut ones.

Maybe I'm just better at writing fluff, or people are just over the constant smut being posted.

Don't get me wrong, some of the smut on this app is 10/10, but the majority of it is just constant usage of the word "cunny" (automatically give me the ick), bad dialogue that would make anyone who has had actual sex walk out, and other stuff that makes me feel like I should be put in jail. @darkmountainstorm-blog summarized this pretty well.

Speaking of the dialogue, why do people think characters not using full sentences during sex is better? I get that being "pussy drunk" is the idea, but It's a personal ick of mine.

There's a lack of structure too, it doesn't feel like a clan more like a group of people sitting around and doing nothing.

Less people are interacting because nothings happening, the bare minimum are patrols but they get watered down into walking around for a few minutes and then going back.

People barely share tongues, talk, making connections etc, leaders and deputies don't check around the clan, people don't go see the medicine cat for minor things like a thorn in their paw or stomach ache, warriors don't train apprentices

no one does things anymore, it's a whole lot of sitting around until the leader calls a meeting or the deputy does patrols

people also get annoyed at the most mundane things now too, and you have to ask for perms for everything. No one's really just coming across rogues on their territory either because you have to ask first, or no one's finding lost kittypets. That's what patrols are for!!!

I used to have so many really fun rps, I got some good interactions, really amazing players and prompts.

now I feel like the community has gotten toxic. More toxic than it was before, at least.

no one ever really interacts with people outside of the or with special roles (ex: I’ve been trying to RP as this ghost character I have, befor the update I was always able interact with people and cause some actual drama. Omens, prophecies, talking to leaders, meds, the works. What ghosts in warriors do.), people being really elitist with “un-exp” cats, making fun of peoples names or OCs or morphs, I feel like there’s no room for creativity anymore.

dark furred toms, specifically those with long muzzles are called “emo” and aren’t ever interacted with

being a kit or an elder is damn near useless at this point.

I notice it’s just very… clique oriented? No one really pays attention to leaders or ceremonies, medicine cats are.. idk. Idk what’s going on with them

literally unless you annoy everyone to death until they talk to you or you’re in a large role or are RPing with friends, or if you’re a spec that’s been claimed for some kind of established rp you aren’t going to get any interaction or RPing done. And even if you are in a large role you’re still ignored because reasons??

played wcue again recently and I am genuinely shocked at how horrible people are, especially to newer players

"unexp" being their main insult is absolutely insane. Turning around and saying such and such can't be leader because they're inexperienced, how do they genuinely think they're going to get that experience if they are shit on everytime they want to tryout the role?

Not knowing something isn't something they should be insulted for, neither is not reading the books. What gets me is how no one ever explains it to newer players when they're struggling, or point out there's actually a guide in-game they can look at. How are you going to be so mad but so unhelpful at the same time???

On the topic of new players, whatever the insult Luna is needs to go too. I don't know about anyone else but seeing a 'Luna/girl/wolf cat/pretty' in the wild is my favourite thing ever. It's endearing even. Almost always they're just a kid going through their first stages of oc making and that's lovely.

back to 'unexp' for a second, less importantly too, it pisses me off because it's incorrect too. it would be 'inexp' if anything 😒😒
