Klay Thompson scores 42 points as Warriors beat Rockets in impressive display

On Monday, February 21, another earthquake hit southeastern Turkey, near the Syrian border. This time, the quake registered as a magnitude 6.3, lower than the initial 7.8 magnitude earthquake and the magnitude 7.5 aftershock that struck the area on February 6. At least six people were killed, and more than 200 were injured in the latest quake.
Despite being a lower magnitude, a magnitude 6.3 is still considered a strong earthquake, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS). Some locals were inside buildings trying to recover belongings lost in the initial quake when Monday's aftershock hit.
So, what are aftershocks, and how long will people in Turkey and neighboring countries like Syria have to endure them while piecing their lives back together? Earthquake geologist Wendy Bohon says that an earthquake must follow a "mainshock," the largest earthquake to occur in the area, and occur before the area has returned to the usual background seismicity level to be considered an aftershock. Aftershocks are common and expected, occurring up to years after an earthquake, and are the only earthquakes that can be somewhat predicted.
According to the USGS, after a magnitude 7.8 earthquake like the one that struck on February 6, it is "extremely common for hundreds of aftershocks to occur over the next few weeks, months, or possibly years." Unfortunately, no technology exists that can precisely and accurately predict when another aftershock may happen.
Wendy Bohon acknowledges that it would be great to tell the people in Turkey and Syria that they are done, and it is time to rebuild, but the earth works in particular ways, and more aftershocks are likely, causing further shaking. It is a traumatizing and devastating situation for the people in the affected areas.
As people continue to recover from these earthquakes, it is crucial to keep in mind that aftershocks are expected and may occur for an extended period. It is vital to stay prepared and have a plan in case of another earthquake.

The combat, while featuring a variety of guns, abilities, and enemies, lacks impact and feels repetitive. Boss encounters all use the same abilities and reward the same style of combat, making them feel like carbon copies of each other.
Despite its shortcomings, Atomic Heart has some solid bones and unique design elements that make it worth playing. However, the excessive bloat and repetitive gameplay can make it frustrating to play for extended periods. Ultimately, Atomic Heart is a game that tries to do too much and suffers for it.

Twitter has acknowledged that getting people to adopt multi-factor authentication has been an uphill battle for many services, and a text-based code is better than nothing. However, the company has decided to take this step to increase the security of its users.

Woods' round was far from easy, as he had to grind for clutch pars and bounce back from three bogeys. However, he was able to hit shots with ease, routinely hitting the ball over 320 yards off the tee and outdriving both Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas on a few holes.
While there was an expectation that the back nine would be tough for Woods to endure given his physical state, his game improved as the round progressed. After making bogeys on the 10th and 12th holes, Woods made three straight pars before hitting the shot of the day on the 16th hole, setting up a five-foot birdie putt that seemed to give him the spark he needed. He then went on to birdie the par-5 17th and 18th holes to cap off a fantastic round.
Woods' return is an encouraging one given his health, but the real test will come in the second round. After finishing his first round past 5 p.m. local time, Woods is set to play the second round at 7:24 a.m. the following day, with just a 14-hour turnaround to get his body ready for another 18 holes in cooler weather. Woods explained that the time in between will feature plenty of icing and treatment in order to get ready.
Overall, it was clear that Woods was having fun being back on the tour, but the joy he showed after the round remained tied to him performing well and having a chance to win. As he stated, "That's the only reason why I tee it up."

Actor Bruce Willis, known for his iconic roles in movies like the "Die Hard" franchise and "Pulp Fiction," has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, according to a statement released by his family on The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration website on Thursday. This comes nearly a year after the star retired from acting due to aphasia, which had been hampering his cognitive abilities.
According to the statement, Willis' condition has progressed since his diagnosis of aphasia in spring 2022, and the family now has a more specific diagnosis of FTD. The disease is characterized by progressive nerve cell loss in the brain's frontal lobes or its temporal lobes, and challenges with communication are just one of the many symptoms that come with the disease.
"Unfortunately, challenges with communication are just one symptom of the disease Bruce faces. While this is painful, it is a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis," the family said in the statement, which was accompanied by a photo of Willis at the beach.
The family also stated that there are currently no treatments for the disease, and they hope that Willis' diagnosis at the age of 67 will bring more attention and awareness to battling FTD.
Many in the entertainment industry have expressed their support for Willis and his family. Willis' oldest daughter, actor Rumer Willis, posted the announcement on Instagram, receiving messages of support from fellow actors and celebrities.
