This is it

I found out about Miraculous Ladybug when I was just 17-18, when a friend told me about this amazing French-Korean-Japanese animation project in 2014-2015. It wasn't even available on YouTube or any mainstream media.

I remember watching the first episodes in Korean, and despite not getting the language, I was really hooked on the show.

I remember watching the rest of the show on YouTube in English. And feeling really bummed when I finished S1 with absolutely no news on S2.

I remember the first thing I found out about S2 was that new characters named Kagami and Luka would be introduced to the show as love interests. And feeling kinda pissed bc I was a devout Marichat shipper. Lol.

I remember my first translation: Heroes' Day pt.1 and 2.

I remember having the energy to stay up late at 1am to translate the new episodes in French or Portuguese.

I discovered this show when I was a teenager and now I'm almost 30. I have a family, a job, and new interests now.

For me, Miraculous Ladybug is a beautiful show, full of heart. In every episode, you can really feel the love, passion, and devotion of everyone involved in the show.

I've had a lot of fun in this fandom and with this show, but now with the S5 finale airing tonight, I think it's time to say goodbye.

It's not that the Agreste Arc is (was?) the thing keeping me here. I'm sure that the adventures to come will be as fascinating as ever. Adrinette will finally be together. Justice will come for Evil Mothy Boi. Émilie will be back (or won't).

It's just, that it feels natural for me to leave after the Agreste Arc.

I will continue to pursue new paths and interests now.

I don't know when I'll deactivate my account because it basically turned into a Miraculous Ladybug blog. But it will be soon.

It was amazing to be almost 9 years with you, to provide you with a few translations, gifs, theories and some crazy dreams.

ok, so elemental might be one of my favorite pixar movies of all time. and i want to talk abt it cause no one else will.

i don’t know what drew me in first. the fact that it was a love story which i was NOT expecting given the awkward vanilla mayonnaise way it was advertised. maybe it’s the fact that it’s a story about a child of immigrants first and foremost, a point that got me right in the chest.

Y’all i don’t know; it was the weird and amazing visuals, it was the relatability, it was the cute love story that didn’t feel forced or weird in the slightest.

it was funny, heartfelt and fucking adorable. i’ve never seen my story told through animation like this before in such a creative and articulate way (not the love part lol but the child of immigrants bit).

Respectfully, this movie had the worst fucking drop date in HISTORY. and i know it’s gonna flop. No one’s gonna give this the chance it deserves and pixar put zero energy into promoting this the way it needed to be knowing that it had atsv AND the little mermaid to compete with it.

All i ask is that you give it some love. I really think you’d like it

Mutuals get a lot of love on this site but I think we should also appreciate the random followers who you see in your notes regularly. The ones who you'll probably never end up following but they like and reblog almost every post you make. The ones who you see and go "hey I recognize that person!! they love my posts!" every time they show up in your notifications.

Post-reveal and Post-Monarch getting his wings clipped, I do think that Marinette and Chat Noir should go and make out in front of Andre out of spite.

Nothing- and I do mean NOTHING- has pissed me off more in this show than Lila manipulating Kagami and pretending to be her friend.

So, Gloob is going to air episodes 12 and 18, when all we got till now are the first 9 episodes.

I know the mayor part of the fandom will watch them despite they're out of order, but I'm not gonna do that.

In this season the chronological order is more important than ever, every episode is interconnected with the others. Just imagine for a moment watching episode 9 without watching the previous 8 first. That would be pretty confusing, right?

For this reason, many people around are considering the possibility of not watching them, especially episode 18, but the same amount of them are afraid of being spoiled anyway by social media, and for this reason they'll watch them even if they'll ruin their experience with the show doing so.

What I'm here for today is asking all of you to not take away from us the freedom to decide.

When the episodes airs, if you want to watch them and rumble about them over social media, please use the proper precautions:

Tumblr: use the #*episode name* spoilers tag instead of just the #ml spoilers one, so we can block the specific tag for those episodes without cutting off ourselves from the rest of the season

Instagram: add spoiler warnings as the first 2 images of your posts (because IG will show you again a post in your feed if you just ignore it, but offering you the second slide instead) specifying the name of the involved episode; when you share spoilers in your stories, cover them with a spoiler alert sticker or share the slide with the warning instead

TikTok: add a couple of seconds at the beginning of your videos where you just put a spoiler warning with the name of the "spoiled" episode

Twitter: other than the #MLBS5Spoilers tag, use a tag with the episode name, #MLBPerfectionSpoilers and #MLBEmotionSpoilers should do the job
