No one is discrediting the student protests. I myself am a student who is partaking in largely student-coordinated protests, drives, campaigns… but I also understand that we are largely missing the point if coverage of these protests overshadows what they are actually protesting for—the atrocities committed on Palestinians every single day. As the western buzz around this genocide gets more and more coverage, the coverage of the genocide itself sharply declines. It’s true and I see it every single day. Things are not being reported with the precision and diligence they should be.

if you’re in denver please come to the auraria college campus, theres a protest on tivoli quad and they need bodies, there is about a 2-1 cop-protestor ratio right now. any help is appreciated if you can make it there, they blocked the entrances but it’s a big campus and you should be able able to get in, i’ll update if we hear more

The photos coming out of the mass arrest at Emerson last night are horrifying… Boston police in full riot gear storming in at 2 am. Over 100 people were arrested. News sites are saying that no protesters got hurt when students are literally in the hospital right now with concussions and broken bones.
