How to take good notes
Hey! Do you ever fail in test because you don’t have good notes? (same) Here are some tips on how to take good notes. I hope this helps :)
1. Highlight key words. - Highlighting key words will make it easier when studying for a test. When studying vocab, this will make it less complicated and easier for your brain. Also it just looks neater in general.
2.  Make your notes understandable for you. - Make sure you understand what you are writing down. If you don’t understand then you wont learn anything and do poorly on a test or quiz. Use words you understand and write it in your own words.
3. Organize your notes. - Organizing your notes will make it easier to know what to study. If its all messy its hard to focus and concentrate.
4. Make it colourful.  - Making you notes more colourful will make it easier and more fun to study. Bright and colourful is easier on your eyes then just pencil and pen. It also looks aesthetic and cute :)

Study Habits/Tips
Hey, here is a guide to help study effectively! In order to start studying, we’ll need to point out bad study habits first! These may include: procrastination, all-nighters, managing time poorly, underestimating distractions, multitasking, not having a study space and many more!
Some study habits/tips that may help you improve are: 1. Picking the right time and place - everyone has their own place and time they like to study at, whether it could be at a library, a friend’s house or even lunchtime at school! Your study place should be quiet, comfortable and distraction free. However, please try and refrain from studying on your bed as we all know how that will turn out.
2. Study everyday - yes, this seems like mission impossible, but you’ll find that continuously reviewing things is much better than cramming last minute. You could start off with just 30 minutes everyday!
3. Ask for help - this one is very, very, VERY important. Although your teachers or classmates may seem intimidating, asking for help can save up so much time, stress and misunderstanding.
4. Stay motivated/have fun - studying can be so much less boring if you can managed to make it fun/motivated. As for me, I love to carry 2 notebooks: one to jot down quick, important notes in class, and the other to make my notes cute and aesthetic at home. Another thing you may do is remind yourself of your goals, why you’re studying/taking these courses and the consequences of not studying.
5. Take breaks - this may not seem much, but taking breaks is actually super important, especially when you’re feeling frustrated and stress. Not taking any breaks can actually decrease your performance, this is also why we discourage last minute cramming. When taking a break, make sure to add some little physical activity, like going for a walk to the fridge!
Overall, I hope these may help you study better, especially with finals coming up! Keep your head up and peace out, until next time ;)
