with all the practice in front of her mirror, she nearly fooled herself too. that's why she loved acting. she could always become something she wasn't. but the facade slowly cracks and her shoulders begin to shake as a tear trails down her cheek. and then the dam breaks. she feels so silly. excitedly talking about finally being on a tv show and then breaking down minutes later at being asked if she was doing okay.

ever since the episode aired, no one truly asked how she was doing. yes her parents would ask how her day was, but she couldn't worry them with her troubles. not when they already sacrificed so much to let her chase her dreams.

yes, she knew her career path would be full of challenges. she was always ready to face them head on. but no amount of acting classes ( or natural talent ) could prepare her for the slew of online messages that spammed her once quiet accounts.

there's always something so refreshing about rosado's presence. maybe it was the way he confidently carried himself or was it because he ignored some of the norms set for idols. regardless, she found his seemingly limitless amount of energy and warm hugs comforting whenever they were allowed to breathe. ❝ it's been too long that even camille got another haircut! ❞ she replied with a soft giggle as her hands reached up to pet the little pup. she could always rely on gyuhyuk to understand without having to explain. while he was never on the receiving end of online hate — at least not to the extent they did for leaving their groups — his presence was always comforting. a true gentle giant in appearance and personality. it was no wonder he was so popular among the viewers and winning in votes. ❝ weren't you just eating? where does all the food go on you? ❞ she teased, cheeks puffing out in a childish pout as she poked his sides. ❝ it's because you're so tall isn't it? the food just distributes to your height. ❞

the fact that he brought up her dramas and shower scenes as an argument made her genuinely laugh. eiji was always so focused on his phone and his games that she never thought he was paying attention. ❝ excuse you, it's very much for the plot?! don't you get a clear head and formulate a plan when in the shower? ❞ it's such a silly thing to argue for. but spending time with eiji felt like all the pressure and weight was lifted off her shoulders. ( even if momentarily ) ❝ and don't get me started on your cutscenes too! ❞

he opened his mouth to argue but promptly shut it. even if he TRIED to deny it-- she could pull up his streams and point out each character. "you don't understand-- she is my bias." if he was lucky enough to see the showcase in person, he would NEED medical assistance leaving the venue. ❝ do you have plans to celebrate after filming? or are you free to grab a cake slice and celebrate with me? it would be nice if inha and gyuhyuk could join us — ❞ her brows furrowed and she pouted just the tiniest bit when she recalled their text messages to her surprise celebration, but she couldn't blame them. not when they were also chasing their dreams too. ❝ maybe we could buy a whole cake to bring back for them to celebrate with us! ❞

The most he expected from others was a quick text message to spare him some thought, but he really should have known better regarding Juyoung--She always went out of her way for those she cared for in addition to that bare minimum. It often left him wondering why anyone would treat her as badly as they did on Phater.

Though with that last comment, just as he's taking a sip from his water bottle; Do-yoon chokes a little as his ears are tinted red.
