So I’ve been pretty dead on this blog. I’m still wanting to keep it around and I do lurk on the Nintendask Discord! But as far as doing any more Character/RP blogs...I just don’t know.

Looking back, there’s a lot of things I regret when it comes to Chomphuahuas. I regret that Reine is basically a palette swap of a Mass Effect OC that I barely even explored in the first place. I regret the 2edgy4u backstory I made from the Chomps and just...Not really...Solidifying any of it into one comprehensive tale. I regret that through any iteration I just did not give Faris the care and attention he deserved, and made him as just a foil to Reine. Whether to enhance her motives or interfere with them, Faris’ existence depended so heavily on what Reine did and that’s not fair. I regret losing my original URL to a fucking serta mattress bot like what even i literally just changed the URL and not 5 minutes later IT GONE BOT ‘TWOHUNGRYCHOMPS’ HAS NOT A DAMN THING TO DO WTIH YOUR FURRY BEAR ASS AVATAR OR YOUR MATTRESS AGENDA FUQ OFF YOU AIN’T EVEN MADE MORE THAN TWO POSTS. I regret not interacting enough(or at all) with all the other muns and hiding away in my safe corner for nearly my entire time in the fandom, because I’m honestly so very anxious when it comes to meeting new people or trying to insert myself into spaces where people already were. I regret how a lot of my past events were influenced by the people around me at the time and how easy it was to just “fall into trend”, I guess would be the appropriate phrasing. I regret how I committed a lot of the same mistakes when it came to precious Princess Lily and to a lesser extent, Etoile my little cannibal Luma. And I regret how quickly I put both on the backburner, indefinitely. I regret...I guess, not losing the relationships the Chomps had made with other characters, just...Not immediately having them within reach, when I decided to focus on different iterations of the Chomps. And then putting THAT on the backburner too. I regret the slow death of Chomphuahuas. But I don’t regret coming here in the first place. I don’t regret the few years I had invested into the Chomps or any of my characters, I don’t regret getting to RP them with other wonderful folks and the things I had learned about, just interacting with people in general because lordy-fuck I sorely needed it at the time. There was...fuck, a lot of not-great things that had happened since I first came here and unfortunately I still carry those lessons with me, but at the same time there was plenty of good things that had happened and I carry those lessons as well. When it comes down to it, even though I never really left that ‘safe corner’, I’m very glad I even tried at all. And I’m more confident thanks to it. I’m glad I was here. I’m glad Nintendask is here.

...I just haven’t been active here at all. It’s not just school and work and the lack of time, although these are the main contributors, but it has really dried up my motivation to keep ask blogs going. I had all these tales I wanted--still want--to tell but I can’t keep going with baiting asks & drawing everything too. I don’t know if that means I’m closing both this and Princess Lily’s blogs down--I might just make them both RP blogs since there’s people and relationships I want to keep. But that’s where I’m at and I wanted to come clean with y’all about it.
