Doing a warehouse 13 rewatch and one thing I really like is all of the characters have relationships with each other that are good!!

Like some shows or movies (like marvel) the character’s relationships are kind of shitty compared to their fanworks and stuff, I don’t feel like this is the case with warehouse 13 and I love it for that

A severely underrated aspect of Dungeon Menshi is that humans aren't called "humans" within the text itself, and are instead given the moniker "tallmen". I remember hearing Laios referred as a "tallman" and thinking, "wait, Laios isn't a normal human?"

And that's when it hit me. In DnD humans are often thought of as the vanilla choice. However, in Dungeon Menshi, tallmen aren't considered as ordinary, but just 1 race among many other races. There is no "default" race, and I find that rather neat.

This seems like a good time to remind everyone that the cast: are best friends who trust each other, have been playing together for over a decade, and love this kind of intense, high drama roleplay.

Before Orym wakes up and Liam starts roleplaying, he is smiling and laughing right alongside everyone else. No one in the scene is genuinely mad at each other.

It's true that this scene wouldn't have been ok at many casual dnd tables, but this is not a casual dnd table. This is the table of notable drama gremlins who love heartbreak (and also an actual play show that places high value on dramatic storytelling).

no but these are just thoughts off the top of my head... i think i finally got laudna's theme/marisha's intentions about laudna's arch and what delilah means... it's about addiction: having this voice in your head and this need that's not you and that you can't control until you do.

like: it turns you against your loved ones and makes you do these things you would never ever do but you do them, and it's this thing inside of you just making you lash out against friends and not be able to see any point of view other than the one your need gives you.
