for me this minigame is the worst, beemoov has/had so many better event idea!

i think that for example mcls summer board game is always funny and easy (lots of dialogue, didn't require any special skills), or the memory games, like on mcl this halloween (but ik others might not like it as much as i do), but i think even searching matching comps on the website was better and more creative than THIS :/ if i want to play w candy crush, i just download an app and goodbye... but unfortunately they didn't even manage to do some cute eldarya/halloween themed design :(

yes, ig after the fire they didn't have that much capacity anymore, and since many people left the game, they didn't have any incoming money either. and this is soo sad, bc as you said, ANE had a lot of potential!!!

and honestly? most game studios dont give a shit about players. and tbh beemoov isnt the worst case... but yes, the sad fact is that they don't listen to the players, to us in many things either:((

this event was the WORST shit on the world. literally, i HATED it with all my heart!!

let me explain.

not like mcls event, this shit had nothing to do with halloween. literally guys, what was that candy crush ☠☠☠ at xmas time its fine w this look, but on halloween... not even a halloween design bruh

i know, i know, lately eldarya events are made by the same template: explonations -> collecting ingredients -> transformation -> outfit pieces -> disgustingly boring, monotonous and hard candy crush minigames -> transformation -> outfit pieces -> illustration/final dialogs

and this is all that i can say about this system: fuck u, beemoov.

this event without real money is IMPOSSIBLE. even with real money, its still FCKN HARD:

first. i have a zarali with 160 energy points. i sent him to places which had 10 energy points/10 mins, bc i thought that this is the best tactic.

my comp brought 300 (!! not even always 500!!!)/500 brown shits from every FOURTH exploration-

second. candy crush. it was ugly and so bad. (and the music lagged so hard, i couldnt even turn it down xD) too bad. mostly i got 50 brown things/game, you can imagine, how slow it went...

third. outfits. they werent bad, but not gonna be my favs-

fourth. pay to win. normally i dont have problem w ptw, IF it doesnt have effect on the basic game.

but here, literally pay to win was the ONLY way, and even w this way, the event was UNBELIEVABLY HARD. 50 golds/125 brown things to the third shit, where 500 brown shits is one item, and you needed 10 to the illus??!?!?!?!!! WTH BEEMOOV

fifth. the community item. luckily my server kinda easily got it, but i didnt hatch it, so i cant speak about it that much

sixth. the illustration. it was beautiful and cute, but so so sooo hard to get, so obv i didnt get it 🥲 how sad

conclusion: mcls event was a hundred times better, even though, that that was based on the same, yearly used template too, BUT at least it was enjoyable, cute, halloween themed, and POSSIBLE (!!) to finish; and bonus: it had separately illus w every crush.

like as i also wrote it to the first reblogger, i'm happy for you, and it's cool that you managed to finish the event!

now that I see that several of you wrote that both the discovery and the minigame went smoothly for you, I realized that maybe it was just my bad luck (really, my comp brought me under 500 *idk what was the name of the item* many times, and for me it also went terribly slowly with candy crush minigames (mostly I got 50 and 75, sometimes 125, and once (!!) I got over 125).

my comps energy wasnt a problem for me, bc he is a quite good comp.

the food-topic didn't affect me, normally i see love candies on the market twice a year... however, i always buy lots of food from the boutique for my comp (in stacks of fifteen), and i also used potions during the event, still: at the beginning of the event, he brought the ingredients quite well, but at the end he ran out of luck or idk... BUT a plus point: i got a lot of clothes from the map;) (btw my family has 358 luck points and yes, he is an adult.)

your list: i already answered a few of them to the previous person, so I'll skip those

4. i agree, you never knew what your comp would bring home, and it was good in its own way

5. i didnt meet with any of them, but i wasn't particularly looking for them, so I didn't have a problem with that. they looked cute anyway :)

6. yes, we also had the bonus comp surprisingly quickly! (and i'm not interested in the bonus comp either)

7. i think the new era illustrations are in themselves a step backwards compared to the origins illus, but i really liked the vibe of the halloween picture, even if i personally (!) don't like this style of drawing

i'm not sure if this was the last halloween or not.

first: they're moving very slowly with the ANE, so i don't know if they'll finish it within a year (although it depends on how many parts there will be... 20? then maybe yes, they can finish it, but who knows).

on the other hand, no matter how we calculate it, eldarya is the other big beemoov game besides mcl, and if mcl ends (and that will happen very soon) and a new mcl game releases, then eldarya will stand on the most stable feet, so they not gonna stop it, at least til the newest mcl game's stable success. after all, they managed to do 3 bonus alternative stories to mcl, plus if i remember correctly, beemoov once said that they are not completely closed off (?) from eldarya alternative stories.

at the end of the day, yes, the event could be better. at least on the same level as mcl's.

and finally, i want to tell you how cool your fit is ^^ i really like it!

as i said, for me, it was really hard, even though i played the event every day, buut then looks like maybe i'm just too bad at candy crush with my 200 gained points/game...

yes, the "all together" illu wasnt the best, i prefer the separated illustrations too, so i totally agree on that!

and as much as i saw from the story, i think it was interesting, but ofc this is just my opinion!

and the outfits are really a matter of taste. at the same time, i don't like this year's fits that much, but i think i will use some of them - separately :)
