can I just say, I'm still deeply haunted by the fact that the vanguard at the malleus key laid out around their perimeter symbols of worship that were trophies from the fallen. they were put there as "a warning, and a sign of pride." can i just bring that up again because that was so, so haunting

i think what got me about this message compared to the others (aside from the immediate aftermath) is the fact orym repeated himself. he knows better. he only has twenty five words. orym gives the information that is needed first, and if there are extra words left, he drops a sentiment. it's one thing for orym to say he's struggling outright. it's another to hear it - in the way his voice cracks, in the way he asks dorian twice if he can come back. he could have never plainly said he was struggling and it would still be heard loud and clear.

Okay, so if the final mystery slot in the Bells Hells merch graphic here is, in fact, a piece of Dorian merch (makes sense, based on color), I would bet anything that Robbie's back at the table either the final episode in March or the first episode in April.

The Fearne duster dropped week one of March. Orym jacket dropped week one of February. Chetney hoodie dropped week two of January, but only because CR wasn't back on air till that week.

Assuming they intend to time the merch release with Dorian's return, AND they stick to the monthly merch drop they've established in 2024, it'll probably happen after Robbie's back, so that timing makes sense to me.

I think a lot of the meta about Orym forgets that Orym isn't just an adventurer, he is a former bodyguard. His self worth is tied up in how well he can protect people and especially his loved ones. Thats why he sold his future to a hag, because its all he had left to give in order to be able to help.

Thats also why he seems so angry after FCG's death.

Otohan has killed his husband and father. Then him. Then he is brought back and told she also killed Fearne and Laudna. She killed Eshteross. She almost kills Keyleth. Now FCG has to sacrifice himself to save them all and kill Otohan and Orym was knocked out for it.

His job is to protect people and even with the added power from Nana Morri, it's still not enough. 6 years later and his loved ones are still dying and he can do nothing but watch.
