Ingredients:
1 ½ cups warm water (around 110°F/43°C)
2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 ½ teaspoons salt

Toppings (feel free to customize):
Tomato sauce
Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
Pepperoni slices
Sliced mushrooms
Chopped bell peppers
Sliced black olives
Fresh basil leaves
Grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
In a small bowl, combine the warm water, yeast, and sugar. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5 minutes until the yeast becomes foamy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Create a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix with a spoon until the dough comes together.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a little more flour.
Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat as well.
Punch down the risen dough and divide it into two equal portions. Roll out each portion into a circle or your desired pizza shape.
Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a pizza peel or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce.
Add your desired toppings, such as pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, black olives, and fresh basil leaves. Be creative and add your favorite ingredients!
Sprinkle some grated Parmesan cheese on top for extra flavor.
Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven (if using a pizza stone) or place the baking sheet directly in the oven.
Bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.
