So, great news: my father called me his son. He brought me to the mall and we went shopping in "boys" stores. When we passed before a “girl” store he told me there was this store but that he knew it didn’t interest me. Also he gendered me correctly and called me by my chosen name multiple times.

Trans joy is recognizing who I am. Even if I’m messed up, discheveled or just woke up, I take a drop of pride in that.

Yes, I am losing my hair on my hairline, yes, I smell sweaty, yes, I have messy chest hair, but I love it. I look like an AVERAGE man. I wanted that so much.

I’ve been transitioning for over 9 years. I’m female to male. Being myself is ultimately loving myself. I’m also gay and most gay guys I tell are surprised and cool with it.

It just feel good to be myself.
