Awh, thanks! It was honestly mostly born from frustration of not having a place to find tournaments, so I'm glad it's helpful for people :)

Why is glaze hard on GPUs? How can this be remedied?

Short answer: I'm not really sure, while I know stuff about AI, I am quite the noob when it comes to computer hardware and how all that stuff works.

Longer answer: It has something to do with the fact that image processing tasks tend to be heavy on computers, add that to millions of computations that are happening in Glaze to try and outsmart the generative AI and it's bound to make your computer work hard.

Luckily, they introduced WebGlaze to Glaze allow you to use a GPU they provide. So you should be able to use that if you do not have a very strong computer (I haven't tested it, because I'm not an artist and I don't want to unnecessarily take up their server space, but it seems fine to me)

What's your stance on announcing non-tournament poll blogs like would you punt them?

I made this blog for tournament blogs, but I'm willing to announce other poll blogs as well (I feel like they started becoming popular mostly after I made this blog tbh) and I think I actually did reblog a couple of posts like that already? So feel free to send them to me

This is for the whole tournament in general but, this tournament is just for fun, do not harass anybody in these fandoms, just because a fandom is/was bad and/or infamous doesn’t mean that gives you the right to harass people in that fandom. You can hate a fandom all you want, but remember that no matter how bad they are, harassment will not do anything good

Hey there! I've noticed a lot of brackets for fictional fathers but not a lot for fictional moms (if there is I couldn't find them lol), so I'm doing one of my own.

General rules;

1. Fictional moms only, don't submit real people pls.

2. The characters do have to be mothers in some form whether biological, adoptive, or just a strong maternal role model.

3. GOOD MOMS ONLY, flawed parents are okay but don't submit mothers who are abusive, bad parents, etc. They don't have to be good people, but do have to be good parents

4. Just be nice pls

I'll do as many as I can but will likely cap it off once we get at 150 or so, obvs will have to be an even number, pls reblog for more as much interaction as possible and bear with me as I've never ran a bracket before lol

This is a blog dedicated to running OC tournaments! A new theme will be decided every time, decided by the followers. The first theme will be chosen by me, and is as follows:

GOD'S FAVOURITE PUNCHING BAG!

Note: Does not need to actually be a God! "God" refers to you, their creator, who enjoys putting them in situations.

To submit an OC, please read the rules below carefully before submitting!

I will be accepting fandom OCs and personal story OCS! However, for personal reasons I will not be accepting Harry Potter/Wizarding World, Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss or Homestuck OCs. This rule is firm and will not change.

You must submit a description of your OC and why they're God's favourite punching bag for them to be eligible!

The size of the bracket will be determined by the amount of submissions we receive.

No real people/canon characters can be submitted.

Be civil! ANY hostility towards other people or their OCs will result in being blocked and banned from interacting with any tournaments. This blog is not intended to breed hatred, but to showcase people's OCs and to generate new likings towards them!

You may submit up to three OCs, but only one per form! You will have to name your Tumblr blog to submit an OC, but you can request not to be named in the polls.

Self propaganda is allowed and encouraged, but hate propaganda towards other people's OCs is not allowed under any circumstances.

Your character must have some sort of reference image. Picrews and other dollmakers are allowed, but faceclaims are not.

The next poll tournament I will be running is the Characters With Fans Tournament.

...Um, fans as in hand fans, I should probably clarify.

I have submitted two characters myself (they'll be at the top of the submissions list)

Submit a character with a fan, along with where they come from and (if you want) propaganda. You can do this through ask or submit a post.

Currently submissions will be closing once the already running poll tournament ends. This could be changed and there will be an update if it does, but for now that's how it is.
