fic idea where instead of breaking demetris arm hawk comes up with increasingly elaborate ways to reach robby in juvie so he can fight him. he disguises himself as a guard. he tries to sneak in through a window. he shows up to the soup kitchen. nothing is working but by god hawk is gonna avenge miguel. mitch is there to hype hawk up and help him out. hawk bounces his plans off of tory who thinks hes kidding every time so she suggests even more ridiculous ideas as a joke that hawk takes completely seriously. demetri and sam find out and work to thwart hawk because they dont want robby getting hurt. tory figures out that hawk is serious about this and also miyagi-do is trying to stop him so she works to thwart sam and demetri. she brings kyler along because why not. miguel doesnt know this is happening because hawk wont tell him until he actually gets to beat robby up. sam and demetri send robby emails about their exploits to stop hawk but robby doesn’t read his emails so he doesn’t know this is happening. hawk spends MONTHS trying to get to robby but he never succeeds. so on the day robby gets released he just waits outside and decks robby in the face the second he steps out.

did an intro class to brazilian jiu jitsu today and it was me and like 25 very tall men in their thirties and later when the teacher was letting me ask him questions i was like "i gotta know. do any women train here" and he was like "well we only started a few years ago but sometimes we have two, three, even five women in our classes" and i was like. hmm. this is johnny lawrence energy. and i will not be returning.

ted lasso would've been funnier if jamie and roy were dating from the beginning and teds pov makes it look like they hate each other but after the big reveal that they're together ted starts to see everything differently and he gets why the team is always seconds from leaving the room

Where’s my messy Sam/Miguel/Hawk dynamic that’s like

Miguel: I’m sorry for leaving you before your fight with Tory and hopping on the bus to Mexico like that without a word. You were in a really vulnerable place, and I should’ve been more considerate.

Sam: It’s okay. You were in a vulnerable place, too, and I’m sorry I didn’t think about what you were going through.

Miguel: I love you, Sam.

Sam: I love you, too.

Miguel: Altho, y’know, since we’re on the subject, Hawk never complained about me missing his match and didn’t see the big deal about me going to Mexico.

I’m still convinced that Hawk seized his opportunity to be an instigator and hook Miguel up with that random East Valley girl at the apartment party because he still sees Sam as a rival. They might be in a better place in S5 than they were in S3, but Hawk knows that Sam remains the only person Miguel would pick over him and when he saw his golden opportunity to help Miguel move on from her, he took it without hesitation.
