Teenah was an experiment, and she wields her origin like a weapon. Prideful, spiteful, conceited - she's been called all these and more by those who refuse to understand her. She considers herself to be selfless, righteous, and dutiful... Though on second thought, both lists are true.

She considers herself the only one willing to take responsibility for the whole "godhood" thing. Even as times have changed, she's still the one facilitating most of the solar system's aspect festivals. Apparently, most of those "gods" she's supposedly related to have better things to do than say hi to their people once a fucking year.

Fun Facts:

She named herself after Talking Tina from The Twilight Zone

Teenah repaints the designs on her body fairly frequently. For a festival, she'll theme the designs around its aspect

Despite her pride, she's remarkably close with Porrim! They have regular meetings whenever Teenah isn't busy

She only counts the last two digits of her age, which is why she's ''78

Teenah refused the 'gift' of time traveling into the future, which is why she's the oldest godling but not the first one

Sophie Signatus

Sophie was an accident and it takes pride in that fact. Reserved, stubborn, and a little vengeful, press has long-since learned to keep their distance. Sophie's fashion makes for an excellent headline - its blasphemous opinions? Not so much.

It's not a caretaker by a long shot, but it has a soft spot for other godlings who have difficult relationships with their parents. As the first godling, it feels it has a sort of duty to be there for them. It won't help them the way her parents refused to help her, but will help them get back at their own parents.

Fun Facts:

Only friends get to use she/her pronouns for it

It picked its own last name

Sophie can turn invisible, though it can barely control this. It thanks the dog genetics for that (Bec, being a first guardian, has genetics that interact weirdly with aspects)

Its parents abandoned it shortly after birth for reasons it doesn't care about. They visit occasionally, much to Sophie's chagrin

It has a complicated relationship with time travel. On one hand, it wasn't ready to be transported too many years in the future as a "birthday gift". On the other, once it got there, it wasn't the only godling anymore

Ectobiology (info and fun facts)

The cornerstone of all intelligent life on Earth C and its solar system, ectobiology is the starting point of the human and troll species. Even carapacians and consorts have strong ties to it, and all make use of it today! Now, it's typically used to fulfill the dreams of parents who can't or won't biologically reproduce. But in the past, it was the only way to create a sustainable population.

Fun fact: humans and trolls are direct descendants of the gods! In the beginning, the pantheon wisely chose to use their DNA to jumpstart these two races.

Carapacians are the traditional caretakers and operators of the ectobiology labs. After the official reappearance of the pantheon, other races were encouraged to join them, so nowadays you'll find all types of people working in the labs! If you're lucky, you'll even find one of the pantheon personally overseeing the development of your new child.

Fun fact: carapacians used to operate the labs before our universe was founded! Naturally, the pantheon put them in charge of populating Earth C while they were gone.

The exact inner workings of the ectobiology labs are a secret. All employees take a vow of secrecy enshrined by the Heir of Void himself (pantheon members technically aren't employees and don't need to take this vow). This keeps machinery safe from wrongdoers and children safe from the press. As you know, many celebrities (and even pantheon members!) use the labs, and no one wants the whole solar system to know about your child before you do!

Fun fact: most early founders were made from randomly combining DNA stored in the labs. While most of them received little bits of everything, some received the majority of their DNA from one or two pantheon members, and are known as godlings!

While most people wish to have a child that's a combination of them and their partner's DNA, some choose a different route. We can't request specific DNA sources without paperwork, but we are allowed to randomize the source(s). Many couples choose to randomize some or all parts of the DNA sequence in hopes that their child will receive some of the pantheon's DNA.

Fun fact: most members of the pantheon have barred their DNA from the random pool. Rumors say this happened after a couple used this randomization, received a godling, and were forced to give them up to the pantheon
