Hey, friends. I never imagined I’d be here hosting one of these things, but hear me out. This is serious business.

This is my friend Liz. I’ve known her since I was in middle school. We’re now in college, & she’s having some serious issues getting on her feet.

She’s attending university in Texas as a music major, but has lived her entire life in an abusive household with parents who have torn her down every day of her entire life. Both verbal & physical abuse are prominent factors in her home life, & I am sick & tired of watching my friend be beaten down to nothing.

She has been made financially dependent on her family as she has never been permitted to have a job. She has no money of her own. She’s going to re evaluate her plans for the degree she plans to get & look for a campus job to supply her basic necessities. In order to be mentally healthy enough to do this, though, she desperately needs to be out of her house.

I’ve created a gofundme for her so that she will eventually be able to pack her things, leave her home, & not worry that she will be unable to afford rent. The money will go towards her new place & any other necessities she requires during the time period in which she gets onto her feet.

Please, please help me get her out of this situation. Even $5 helps. I am watching her die every single day at the hands of her situation & I don’t want to lose her.

Hey y’all, please help me reserve my surgery day!

Hi! My name is Griffin, I’m 18 years old, and I’m trans. The next huge part of my journey is getting top surgery, and with that comes a lot of fees.

I don’t have an insurance quote on the final copay for the surgery yet, but I know the reservation fee at the clinic I’ll be going to is 500$, which I, a broke college student, don’t have.
