i read one of us is lying and I wanted to share my thoughts on it. First I thought that the characters were very well written and loved how instead of going against each other they worked together to help figure out who killed Simon. But I thought that the murder mystery aspect of the book was TERRIBLE. The main 4 only started to investigate the murder in the last 58 pages instead of the investigation being the main plot. I started reading this book because I really enjoyed a good girls guide to murder and heard that the two were similar and I was craving another good murder mystery. But since the plot was not really about investigating the murder I found that it was boring and hard to get through. I only really kept reading because I LOVED Bronwyn and Nate’s relationship. Half way through the book I guessed that SPOILER ALERT Simon killed himself. This book did not have me guess till the very end which is what I look for in a murder mystery so I gave this book a 2.5 stars and would not recommend.
