HC / writing prompt for whenever you're ready <3 Oranges : I love the thought behind your partner peeling an orange for you. It's simple, sweet, and a little poetic. I think your HCs for our favorite fish boys peeling our oranges would just be perfect! ( I like to think that sense Sidon is so big, he would have a terrible time trying to peel oranges, so he would peel you a grapefruit instead thinking they're basically the same thing, lol )             This prompt can obviously be for anyone, but I'd love to see Sidon and Rivan for myself, and Bazz for Rocky ofc. <3” - @bertie-bats

firstly, i want to say that citrus is toxic to fish, so i’m making that somewhat apply here. i have to :’) i only learned that because i now have a fish who is my whole world <3

SIDON

big hands and small orange do not mix well

he tries and tries and tries

but every time ends up in a pulpy mess

he’s at the market one day and sees a grapefruit

he thinks ‘…big orange?!’

definitely buys it for you

he forgets to put something over his hands when peeling it

so his fingers start to tingle

but it’s worth it for you

he’ll bring it to you with a smile on his face

not a single negative thought on his mind

“… Sidon, this is not an orange…”

his eyes go wide

“What? But- but I thought…”

you just giggle

i mean

how can you not?

“It’s okay. I promise.”

you make yourself a bowl of sugar to place the grapefruit slices in

which helps a lot

Sidon takes a mental note that oranges are indeed orange

BAZZ

takes his orange peeling VERY seriously

he’s got gloves and he’s ready to go

because despite the citrus fruit making his hands sting

he really wants to do this for you

he’s not one to be SUPER romantic

so honestly the little things are BIG BIG BIG

he’ll bring you the peeled orange on a tray

the slices presented in an aesthetically appealing way

you’d think he’d gone to culinary school

“For you, my darling.”

you’d both sit on the sofa and enjoy some quality time together

and he’s definitely stealing glances while you eat this orange

RIVAN

this man would do anything for you

the chaos that ensues when you ask for something

even something small

is too much for most

but not for you

you’ve learned just how to handle it

but Rivan peeling oranges is another story

he always forgets to wear gloves

and for most Zora, it wouldn’t be too much pain

but Rivan

you’d walk in, seeing this whole display

he’d side eye you

“And?”

he’s not letting that major health concern stop him

he just wants to peel an orange for you to enjoy

and this gets him a day off from training

hi hi friends

i feel really bad about not getting back to the requests in my inbox. i keep trying and trying, but honestly every time i go to type something, my brain just shuts down. that, and i haven’t played BotW/TotK in a WHILE, and i really need to get back into it. i know it would help a little bit.

a lot has changed for me over the past month. it’s been really hard to deal with, in all honesty. the gender dysphoria is a constant, i have 0 motivation to do anything… hell, i zone out during my d&d sessions now… i’ve been thinking about changing my name, too. which kinda sucks, because i already have the perfect tloz themed name. uGHHH!!!! 

i also just got a pet fish, in hopes that it would help me take my mind off things. not that i want to call him a distraction, but… i love him so so much. and the responsibility does help a little, not gonna lie. i get excited when i wake up, just because i now i get to see this little guy :’)     i’ve literally spent the last few days just sitting at his tank for HOURS after i get home from work work. 

thanks for sticking with me and for going through all the stuff i’ve posted so far. i appreciate all the kindness and support. please know it goes a VERY long way. it’s been rough, but i promise i’m trying to get back into the swing of things here. it’s almost summer break, so maybe the creative juices will be flowing again?

hi hi friends! long time no see!!

i had planned to come back with a new headcanon last week. i had so many ideas floating around in my head with some requests that were sent in, and the idea of coming back with something new was so exciting! but right after con, i was hit with a massive wave of depression and gender dysphoria, and it has literally kicked my ass. i am so tired.

i'm gonna to try my best to get something out by this weekend. i really miss writing, and i know it would help me feel better. but if i don't, please know i'm thinking of you all and trying to get back into my groove <3
