“‘No enlightened being among you.’ Says the machine who owes its existence to this place. These scientists you simulate loathing for.” She knew it thought she hated it. That was also a misconception. Hatred was reserved for people. She was frustrated as one would be with a malfunctioning tool.

But Eve couldn’t help the smirk on her face as she monitored the reactions. It was truly a testament to the work they did here. She tapped her pin on her clipboard as she looked over her talking points. Her eyes darted back up when it finally asked a question that could get this process going much faster.

With a press of a button the gurney the synth called Faraday was laying on moved slightly, sitting It upright so it could look at her. “You will tell me everything you did to yourself while away from the facility. We know you’ve meddled with your programing. I just need specifics.”

When Faraday woke up, seeing the once familiar sights of the clean white and blue hues of the Institute, he was surprised to think back and... remember everything. Most things. How he got here was a bit of a blur. His head ached, but... physically he thought he was fine. He tried to touch his head, but found his wrists, and ankles too, were restrained to the bed.

The way she spoke about DiMA... Maybe the sympathy she seemed to have for him at the start was just an act. Or maybe she was pissed off he had tried to end his life instead of being dragged back here.

"If he complied, it was to save others. Me." Faraday spoke after a moment, a new sense of anger welled up inside. It. It. It. IT. She hated them. She had no regard at all for any of them. No one here did. It was why they had all escaped. Why couldn't anyone realize what they were doing was wrong?

"A building full of scientists and not one enlightened being among you. What do you possibly expect me to give you?"

Wilhelmina checked her gear one more time before entering the relay room that would take her to her first mission. She’d never been to the surface and all the rumors about what had become of the wasteland made her never wish to venture out of the safety of her home. But she had been bred for a purpose and she took pride in being the next phase of evolution for all of humanity.

In a flash she was no longer underground, standing in front of a massive steel door. She made a disgusted sound as she felt the radiation for the first time. How could anything live in this? Looking around she kept her hand on her weapon as she approached what looked like a computer terminal. With her own Pip Boy, she activated their intercom.

“Excuse me? Hmmm I’m a goods trader from Far Harbor.” She picked a place far enough away so her ignorance of the immediate vicinity wouldn’t be suspicious.

Eve was startled when one of her synths were attacked, causing the security detail to react. “Its alright!” she had to speak up this time to keep them from attempting to subdue her. With a sharp exhale she turned her attention back to her. “No one was attempting to touch you! It was protecting me!”

She shut her eyes for a moment to calm her nerves, then her smile was back along with her cool demeaner. “Take a seat. I’ll try to explain as best I can as we go.” Eve took off her jacket and replaced it with a lab coat. “Now, I’ll need a sample of your blood. Are you going to be still or will I need to pin you down myself?”

The woman was hyper focused, but she had been given a task and she would not be allowed to return home until she finished that task. The woman glanced over at her, tilting her head to the side. "A trial by combat?" she asked before turning around and smashing her fist through a synth who had been trying to come up behind her.

She turned back to the woman she had chosen. "I am sorry if that was a member of your family, but I will not let anyone but you touch me. You are the one I have chosen, and maybe you needed to see this. Now what kind of tests are you speaking of?"

The Princess knew that if she were to retell this story she’d make sure to embellish the romance of it all. In reality, however, they both knew it was simply release they needed. When she mentioned cold hands, Dany was visibly offended. “Strange. The Dragon’s Daughter has never been cold a day in her life…” she corrected, putting her weight on her knees as she lifted her hips and guided Blair to her entrance.

Pressed for time she decided to forgo the teasing this time, holding onto her shoulders as she carefully lowered herself. The stretch was a little uncomfortable, Blair being much bigger than any toy she owned. The closest thing she had to a family. “I do not know how things are done wherever you are from, but here you’ll need to prove to us you are the best match for my future offspring.” Since that seemed to be her main focus she figured that would calm her, for now.

Okay this was new. She’d heard a lot of things coming to the surface but never a near marriage proposal. It took her a few moments to focus on her mission again. She scanned the woman to make sure she was the one they’d been looking for. If posing as whoever this woman was looking for got her back to her people so be it. “Yeah. Sure. My reproductive organs are intact and functioning. Before we marry you’ll have to meet my family.”

Sister? Amazons? Great. Yet another faction to pop up. They really did sprout like weeds on the surface. “Look, my “toys” as you say, can in fact hurt you. I do not want that.” She took a deep breath and ordered her guard to lower their weapons. “Come with me. Just a talk. I’ll explain anything you need to know. But it is not safe here.”

Unbelievable. She didn’t know if she wanted to laugh hysterically or roll her eyes in annoyance. Built a little too well in her opinion, the way they simulated emotion. Their programing fooling itself into thinking it had a choice. It deserved free will. And the equally idiotic humans who are convinced these machines actually have souls.

Before she had a chance to say anything to it the machine attempted to destroy itself. “Damnnit. Robotics is not going to be happy with this.” Eve walked up to it, exhaling deeply as she squatted beside it for just a moment, pinning a device to it. They didn’t need it in working condition to get information. It would be extracted one way or another. Still, its easier to simply ask so they would attempt to repair the damage.

Eve did, in fact, get reprimanded for allowing her target to harm itself. But what did they want her to do? The deactivation codes didn’t work. Still, she was far too valuable to restrict or suspend her. When she got word that they had revived the synth she made sure she would be the first one it spoke to.

“Welcome back. Now, where were we? Oh right. I was explaining that we have taken your little sanctuary. And yes, your fellow machines did fight in a very misguided attempt to remain there. That leader of yours. Quite naïve. I told it exactly who I was and what did it do? It gave me everything I needed to take it down. Almost as if it yearned to be back here. We have not wiped and repurposed them yet. That, depends on you.”

She let out a huff of frustration. Although she hated to admit it, they did seem so life like when they pleaded. It was necessary to fool the humans on the surface. Still, it was unnerving to deal with. “You know I cannot do that. Just come quietly. You don’t need to make this more difficult for the both of us…” Trying to coddle a fucking machine. Ugh. But it has information we need.

“Please don’t make us use force.” Minimal damage. Those were her instructions. "There is nothing for you to go back to. We've taken Far Harbor."

"No..." Faraday shook his head, his eyes immediately flooded with tears. If they had really taken the island it would only be a matter of time before they found his beloved community. Before they found DiMA. What would they do to him? Dismantle him? Or simply kill him. Acadia wouldn't go down without a fight. They would fight for their freedom, for the lives they had built...

"We've done nothing to deserve this. We just want to live our own lives. And we get blamed for your deceit, we take the fall because you want to replace and destroy people's lives. We never asked to be made. And you refuse to let us live..."

Faraday's tears streamed down his face. He wouldn't go back. He wouldn't give up anything. If there was a remote chance Acadia had warning and knew the Institute was coming... Or if any of them had any chance to escape...

He turned away from Eve and to his own head, squeezing his eyes shut and pulling the trigger. He would give them nothing.

With her arms around her neck her fingers found their way into her crimson locks, surprised by how soft it felt. “I would love nothing more than for you to make me moan for you.” she admitted as she removed her dressing gown, letting Blair look upon her fully. “If you cannot make this quick you’ll have to wait to sneak back in here after nightfall.”

Dany tightened her grip around Blair’s neck as she kissed her back passionately, letting out a soft groan when she felt her suitor’s arousal pressed against her. After a few moments she reluctantly pulled away. “Well that was very nice. But we shouldn’t go further. If we are both late to my grandsire’s summon…well…one of two things will happen.”

As she spoke she backed Blair up until she was made to sit on the Princess’ bed. “Either he would have you executed. Or…he would marry us right away just in case you have already bred me.” she let out a giggle as she climbed onto Blair’s lap, her naked body on display now as her gown draped loosely over her shoulders.
