Impressive in a picture, absolutely amazing in person. The Vessle, is it Esher inspired (?), live sculpture. This picture does not do it justice. I’m conflicted about the Hudson Yards. It’s great, practical and stunning, but lacks the grit of old NYC which I love. Anyway, my reaction to The Vessle surprised me... maybe I’m finally ‘getting’ art? More likely just good design.
