office uk is like. it makes you chuckle because you're like 'that's so relatable i know a guy EXACTLY like that in real life' or 'oh my days this is so cringe but im laughing because this character sort of deserves ridicule' but the office us is just cringeworthy in an obnoxious and deeply unempathetic way. like im watching these actors who think they've got comedic chops say unfunny lines and do things that irl would make me think their character had some sort of personality disorder which isnt funny to me. i just feel bad. like it feels as if the actors are making fun of the characters they're playing more than they are embodying them.
