Update after Semester 1
Been a hot minute but finally Semester 1 & the UCAT is done. I ended up with an A+ & A for my taught papers and 2880 on the UCAT - which I am absolutely stoked with!
I have taken the week off to just chill and relax after a hard hustle, and then I am preparing for a university conference where I am presenting my research for the year so far, and then med school interviews & thesis hand-in around November.
I'm a bundle of nerves currently because the fast-paced nature of semester 1 is over, and now I have a marathon to the end of the year. Applying for medical school as a graduate in NZ is definitely isolating at times when you don't have hundreds of fellow classmates going through the same thing, but I'm super optimistic & despite it all, I am enjoying the journey so far!

Day 7 of 100 Days of Productivity Challenge. Working on UCAT study, and wow I haven't done math in a while. Also preparing some CV & resumes for some casual/part-time work at my university as well as starting the application for some summer research scholarships! It's been a moderately productive week - sometimes the best productivity is having a relaxing break from study and just performing some self-care. For me that was binging Criminal Minds. Hell yeah.

Day 1/100: Productivity Challenge. Very excited to have purchased a MasterClass subscription today. The goal is to complete a series ~weekly while focusing on my UCAT exam study! Today I'm doing some mini-mocks to gauge where I am without study, before heading deep into prep work with a small group of others completing the UCAT during this cycle (all from overseas!).

It's 5:30am, I've been up since 3am, and I've just downed a shot of coffee. My last exam for the year is in 6.5 hours, and I'm super ready to finish! I had such vivid dreams last night that I didn't submit correctly (online exam) and missed the deadline - yikes. Life of being a student though I guess. To everyone out there in the same boat as me - you got this! I believe in you.
