In Parade of Providence, Alhaitham tells traveler Kaveh will bring him leftovers.

But if you use Nahida's skill on Kaveh in the cafe scene, it says he wants to order extra food to take back home.

I don't think that's what leftovers are? Does that mean Kaveh's been telling Alhaitham they're leftovers so Alhaitham wouldn't think he actually loves him enough to bring him extras? (ㆁωㆁ)

thinking about chiluc again in the way that ajax finds a strange comfort in diluc and diluc finds a home

ajax, the boy with a blade, forced to kill because what else is he to do? no one cared to show him that his hands could be gentle, no he had to learn by tearing it out of others

and diluc, the boy who never felt at home, always wearing a dream far too big for him and it haunts him and he tries to repent for sins that were never his to begin with, and he doesn't know how to ask for kaeya come back, how to ask for his brother because he's so used to being denied

ajax, who finds his hands can be soft when they hold diluc, despite the blood they have and diluc able to find home in ajax, a place he can confide and a person he can ask of

since i'm bored and have nothing better to do, i would love to share some of my personal favorite chiluc headcanons.

autistic diluc x audhd childe... diluc having a special interest in birds and childe having a special interest in marine biology.

childe collects bird feathers he finds on his travels for diluc, just to give the redhead an excuse to infodump to him.

speaking of info dumping, diluc is extremely shy when it comes to info dumping. the moment he realizes he's info dumping, he shuts it down instantly. this frustrates childe to no end, because he's never seen such a genuine sparkle in diluc's eyes like he does when diluc is rambling about bird facts to him.

diluc is terrified of rain and thunder, while childe is terrified of darkness.

when it comes to sleeping, diluc is more refined (in his words) and prefers spooning. childe, on the other hand, starfishes over diluc.

childe has a bad habit of collecting little nick-nacks and souvenirs that he doesn't need while traveling around teyvat. in return, the dawn winery has slowly started to fill up with these souvenirs that childe insists on collecting. diluc frequently lectures and scolds him for it, saying he's "cluttering up the winery"... yet still keeps the random little nick-nacks childe brings home.

speaking of bringing home nick-nacks, diluc frequently teases childe about it. he says childe reminds him an awful lot of certain bird species that decorate their nests with items to attract mates. the ginger always responds with an indignant huff and a mumbled "i don't do that."
