CCP general-secretary Zoe Lenyan is also Premier of the CSR and chairwoman of the NCA Standing Committee and of the Central Military Commission (the state body responsible for command of the military, tightly bound to the ruling party). Her rule has been characterized by relentless persecution of political dissidents and rapid industrialization of the country. She has been criticized for telling the president of the USA to "kill [him]self" and threatening to "obliterate every single yankee in nuclear hellfire" in what the state media has characterized as "a heated gamer moment."
the National Catgirl Assembly is the highest organ of state power in the Catgirl Socialist Republic, being elected by the provincial catgirl assemblies that are themselves elected by the directly elected municipal catgirl assemblies. 'Bodily autonomy' refers to a specific set of legal privileges granted by a specific state at a specific point in history.
There is no abstract, pure version of 'bodily autonomy' coinciding with any currently-existing principles that was also somehow just as valid to a bronze-age person - both are historically-situated, which is to say politically and economically situated! It would be a great coincidence if the universal, purely-ontological notion of 'bodily autonomy' we have derived also happens to be functionally identical to a mildly-reformed version of the exact same principles as Hobbes' Leviathan.
To consider something 'violing bodily autonomy' to be universally an incorrect (and thereby harmful) action, then, is essentially identical to appeals to abstract liberal 'human rights'. There are cases where 'bodily autonomy' simply cannot be respected on practical grounds; in cases where consent to treatment cannot be granted one way or the other (such as an unresponsive, unconscious, and dead patients) the assumption is near-universally made that it is better to actively begin aiding the patient without their explicit consent.
Medical personnel will, generally, need to be given extremely strong evidence of prior statements (a DNR bracelet won't be respected until someone up the command chain can confirm an official DNR), because in the risk-management equation in medicine, saving the patient tends to weigh pretty heavily. Heavier than strictly respecting bodily autonomy, at least.
