Species Lore: Split Shifters!

This is going to explain the species Moo/Shay Radford is, aka a Split Shifter!

What is a Split Shifter? A split shifter is a humanoid that can not only shapeshift, but also clone themselves/what they turned into. Only a split shifter's emotions can be shifted into and cloned into humanoids, often with some sort of small power. The more a split shifter does this, the more mentally draining it can become to a point of pure physical exhaustion. Split shifters can also summon one weapon that best represents their mentality (such as a fencing sword, hammer, crowbar, or shuriken to name a few).

Are there variations? Yes! There are 11 types of Split Shifter: Uno/Unette: A Split Shifter with only one emotion which they can shift into or clone. These are the most mentally sane of the species Duo/Duel: A Split Shifter with two emotions they can shift into or clone. These are the most common. Trio: A Split Shifter with three emotions they can shift into or clone. Another common one Quadio: A Split Shifter with four emotions they can shift into or clone. Moo's mother is a Quadio Quintio: A Split Shifter with five emotions they can shift into or clone. Hexio: A Split Shifter with six emotions they can shift into or clone. Often unstable, as six is seen as an unlucky number to the Split Shifters. These ones are often outcasts or possibly of demonic origin Septio: A Split Shifter with seven emotions they can shift into or clone. Octio: A Split Shifter with eight emotions they can shift into or clone. Nonio: A Split Shifter with nine emotions they can shift into or clone. Dekio: A Split Shifter with ten emotions they can shift into or clone. Multi/Multette/Multio: A Split Shifter with 11 or more emotions they can shift into or clone. These are the rarest of them are, and the most unstable. Moo is a Multio.

Are they only limited to their emotions? Usually, yes. If a Multio is of a high enough mental power, they can use their imagination and shift into or clone their characters, other people, or themselves, but this is extremely hard to do, mentally/physically draining, and extremely risky, as if the split shifter isn't careful, they can summon a rather dangerous creature unintentially. The only one who has done this is Moo, but it has nearly killed him. This is how Maxwell came into existence in the Mooverse Series.

Can I make one? I only have this species open to close friends, as I want to work on the species more.

Emotions/Splits

AngerMoo aka Anger or Aaron

Anger is Moo’s anger shift. He looks similar to Moo, but his hair is straighter and shaggier, he has more stubble, and his eyes are dark red. He is your typical knuckle-headed jackass with the attitude of a person from the Bronx. He often is to himself or spending time with his husband, Sad, and their two kids, Anxiety and Berserk. He often wears red long sleeved shirts and black pants, no socks or shoes. Pronouns are strictly He/Him

SadMoo aka Sad or Sammy

Sad is Moo’s sad shift. They look similar to Moo, but their hair his straight and emo cut and have baby blue eyes. They are the motherly one in the group and tends to try and keep people calm. They love being affectionate and are rather emotional. She has her husband, Anger, and their two kids, Anxiety and Berserk. He often is wearing blue sweaters and long, black skirts. Pronouns are He/They/She.

LewdMoo aka Lewd or Lance

Lewd is Moo’s uhm… for lack of better terms, horniness. Looks tye same but magenta eyes and a “douchbag” beard sitch. He tends to be rather effeminate, sometimes feminine, but still kind of a play boy. He heavily flirts and isn’t afraid to show he’s in the mood. He respects boundaries when given, which Moo has to tell him prior, so unless someone tells him to be a horny ass, Moo usually tells him to calm it. He’s usually in a lavender/pink long sleeve crop top and pant jumpsuit. Pronouns are He/They/She/It/Zie.

LogicMoo aka Logic or Louis

Logic is Moo’s rationality. He looks similar to Moo, but with longer hair in a braid and gray eyes. He’s the epitome of left brain, rationalization, and cold hard facts. He hates nonsense and would rather work than goof around. He will usually tell off those who act a fool or are generally getting ridiculous. His only exception is his boyfriend, BroMoo, who is his major opposite. He usually is in long sleeved shirt and black pants. Pronouns are strictly He/Him.

LilMoo aka Lil or Linus

Lil is Moo’s headspace when overstimulated. He looks similar to Moo, just shorter and with yellow eyes, sometimes black tail and cat ears. As Moo’s headspace shift, he takes on a more childish and emotional demeanor. He is rather hyper and chaotic, and tends to get i to things like a cat. He often is perceived as cat-like by his boyfriend/guardian, Daniel/D. He also is rather quick on his feet and scurries quickly when he knows trouble is near. He’s usually the one crying when in trouble, only because he isn’t sure how to regulate his emotions. He usually wears a cotton candy pink and blue hoodie, cotton candy pink, blue, and white leggings with white shorts, and yellow velcro shoes with pink and blue straps and white, pink, and blue detailing. He also ties ties his hair in a yellow scrunchie. Pronouns are strictly He/Him.

BroMoo/BruhMoo aka Bro/Bruh or Brock

Bro is Moo’s creative and playful sides. He looks similar to Moo but longer hair, scruffy stubble, and black nails and toenails, as well has being a bit hairier than the other Moo’s. He’s the exact opposite of Logic; lazy, stoner type, creative, and rather relaxed. He’s often trying to calm everyone down rather than start stuff, and has to remind his boyfriend, Logic, that not everything needs to make full sense. He’s usually in some variant of Hawaiian shirt, khaki cargo shorts, and sometimes flip flops. Pronouns are He/They/Zie.

InkMoo and Their Inks aka Inky or Isaiah

Inky is Moo’s main creative source. They look only vaguely like Moo, since their skin is rainbow/dimly iridescent, and their eyes are red, yellow, and blue. They have three small inks they turn into; Roo is the mini Anger, Yoo is the Mini Happy, and Boo is the mini Sad. Often they are parental type, keeping an eye on the other Moo’s. They usually are semi dormant, as they aren’t required, but they will put their twi sense in when possible. They also tend to lurk as well. They usually wear a similar outfit to Lewd, except it’s dark blue. Pronouns are They/Its.

GoreMoo aka Gore or George

Gore is Moo’s Gender Dysphoria and Body Dysmorphia, as well as a gore creature (someone stripped of humanity, decency, and sometimes sanity to the point of bodily destruction) from another timeline that was brought by Darka. He looks similar to Moo, but he’s missing his face, tongue, brain, teeth, ears, arms, legs, and parts of his chest organs. Despite his rather gruesome looks, he’s a natural sweetheart. He loves people and is rather affectionate with his boyfriend, Cide. Instead of speaking, he gurgles, which can sometimes sound eerily like a cat coo or purr. He lacks clothes, as gore creatures are cursed to not wear any. Pronouns are He/Its.

HappyMoo aka Happy or Henry

Happy is Moo’s suppressed joy and excitement. Due to suppression, he’s become somewhat unstable and chaotic. He looks like a mix between Moo and Infiression (mentioned later in this post), with Moo’s proportions, but Infiression’s face. His hair is also shaggy like Anger’s. He is a ball of chaos and due to suppression, can contort his body, face, and voice with ease to the point of “voiding himself” (look up void memes and Blue Channel: Thalesin for more on what I’m talking about.). He wears a similar outfit to Moo (green shoulderless long sleeved shirt and blue pants), but they are torn pretty much). Pronouns are He/Its.

VentMoo and Infiression

Moo’s venting duo, as well as the fusion of Moo and Darka (Vent) and the creature haunting them (Infi). They are around 2 feet. Both have chibi like proportions, wide eyes that seemingly go past their heads, beady pupils, and long, semi wavy hair. Vent has markings in and under his eyes, as well as dark blue stains on his legs, neck and arms. He has a pentagram mark on his back as well. Infiression doesn’t have these markings, but he always usually has a permanent toothy Cheshire grin. They are opposites of each other; Vent is a nervous wreck and blames everything on himself, and Infi is a mischievous creature who will fight anyone who dares bully VentMoo (yes @folf-gaming this includes Error, the creature is that stupid). They wear a similar outfit to ShyMoo Kohai (green, shoulderless long sleeve shirt, blue pants), but the clothes are rather torn. Vent goes by He/They, Infiression goes by They/Its.

MooBot

MooBot is Moo’s age counter and brother of VentMoo. He technically is a vent himself, but is more passive. He’s got parts covered in metal, and the dark stains are artificially stained on. He’s also got beady eyes. He’s a helpful and sweet boy who only wants to help his friends. He often gets attached to people easily and is one to befriend quickly as well. He has not clothing technically as he is a robot and has no genitalia, but in some cases he does dawn a similar outfit to Moo. Pronouns are strictly He/Him.

VyMoo aka Vy

VyMoo is Moo’s trauma holder. It has Moo’s looks, but has dark green hair, and the longer part is all snakes. Her skin is green, and she has the lower half of a snake. He is brash, crude, and cynical. He trusts nearly no one, other than a couple people, and becomes feral around strangers quickly. They can be won over easily with snacks however. He has a hard time with English as well. No clothes, but sometimes wears his boyfriend’s shirts to cover his chest. Pronouns are He/She/They/Its.

BerserkMoo aka Berserk

Berserk is Moo’s rage and wrath, as well as the son of Sad and Anger. He looks like a fusion of Sad and Anger, the only difference is he has black and red eyes with black scleras and his tips are dark blue. He often likes picking fights and has to be held back by his younger brother, Anxiety. He is very protective and will fight for his friends. He is rather crude and blunt, and will tell it how it is. He usually is in similar outfits to BroMoo or AngerMoo. Pronouns are strictly He/Him.

AnxietyMoo aka Anxiety

Anxiety is Moo’s… well, anxiety and fear, as well as the son of Sad and Anger. He looks like a fusion of Sad and and Anger, but his skin a pale green/purple/blue/fair tone, his eyes are purple, and his hair goes from desaturated light red to dark red to desaturated blue. He’s got a similar demeanor to LilMoo, but more skittish and emotional. He tends to cower in fear at the chance of confrontation, and often blames himself for things. He overthinks and hates being responsible for anything, since he feels he’ll fail. He wears similar clothes to SadMoo, except his sweaters are purple. Pronouns are He/They.

LightMoo aka Light or Dawn Ruthe

Dawn is Moo’s Good Conscience and the sibling of Elizabeth Ruthe (more on her later in post). They have the same looks as Moo, but their skin is a dark brown, their hair is blonde, and their eyes are teal and lilac with ‘=‘ pupils. They are usually dormant, as they often aren’t around due to suppression, but when they come about, it’s only in emergencies. They are calm and collected, and rather empathetic and sympathetic. They are family oriented and love their sister dearly. They often wear lilac and pink dresses with detachable sheer sleeves. Pronouns are They/She.

The Alts

Elizabeth Ruthe aka DarkMoo or Darka

Moo’s Dark Conscience, trauma holder alt, and the sister of Dawn Ruthe. She looks similar to Moo, but has the same hairstyle as Sad (coloring is purple with black roots) very light gray skin, D-Cup chest, and gray eyes with red swirls. She’s rather emotional, irrational, and sometimes malevolent. She is usually chaotic and mischievous as well, often conspiring with her fiancé, November, and boyfriend, Holly Terror. She often wears black and purple long sleeved dresses and slip on shoes. Pronouns are strictly She/Her.

November

Moo’s protector alt and occasional co-host. He looks more akin to Zane (side note, he did manifest from Zane and Moo and attached to Moo in the form of an alt when Moo experienced trauma from Zane’s torment). He has long, dark brown hair, golden eyes, tan skin, and a thicker build. He also tends to have scruff as well and scars galore on his body. He is usually like BroMoo; lazy rather relaxed, and partially a stoner type. He is forever being a smartass, and will tell you how it is. He can be protective, especially over his fiancé (Elizabeth), boyfriend (Holly Terror), and Moo. He is usually in black tank tops, a brown leather jacket, and black jeans with boots. Pronouns are He/Its.

Davie

Moo’s headspace alt. He has fair skin, short, dark brown hair, ice blue eyes, and faint freckles. He has the same demeanor as LilMoo, but is more immature in the sense that he’s only 13. He loves sweets and will often try and be the best he can be. He often wears similar outfits to LilMoo. Pronouns are strictly He/Him.
