i learned about Tim Wong who successfully and singlehandedly repopulated the rare California Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly in San Francisco. In the past few years, he’s cultivated more than 200 pipevine plants (their only food source) and gives thousands of caterpillars to his local Botanical Garden (x)

Is it valid to start thinking about religion in terms of gender.

For example i was assigned a religion at birth into a family that practiced said religion and was raised being taught it and to study it.

But the older I got the more I realized that I dont vibe with it. (Especially after some religious trauma) I don't want to fully abandon it for personal reasons and because i still like parts of it that feel familiar and home-like to me (foods, traditions, etc) but not the other parts.

I dont know how to explain that i dont vibe with my religion but i'm not atheist either and i dabble a little bit with beliefs of other religions and practices

Its so weird trying to figure out asexuality. How do I explain to people that I find certain fictional characters and older men attractive because maybe I know that and are comfortable with the fact that they're out of reach and i keep all relationships at an arms length and romantic relationships even further away because i am so so so scared of them

I know I dont owe anyone an explanation but I feel like I have to especially in order for me to understand it better. I guess that's why its a spectrum and there's not boxes you have to check to be a "true" aroace
