it came howling. the snow kept falling and the storm that descended upon the little town of ravenswood was like no other. it came under the cloak of night, whipping at the weakest parts of the town. the wall stood firm, some places worse for wear, but still— ravenswood stood her ground.

what does this mean?

— Ravenswood was beaten by a storm overnight. Heavy snow fall and wild winds held the town hostage. the generators that power the towns residential buildings have been knocked out, all focus is now on keeping the hospital generators running. the wall isn’t badly damaged, but will need to be of focus in the coming days. if another storm should roll through, there are definite spots to keep an eye on.

what residents need to know:

— it’ll be very, very cold. residents are advised to stay inside their homes, keep themselves warm however possible. luckily some of the residences are with the use of log burners, but others are advised to find alternative sources of heat.

— SEALs will take over the roll of patrol for the major areas of concern. Patrol members are asked to keep an eye on neighbours, elderly and children within their residential zones.

— Medic’s will be required to stay home unless contacted by Dr Kuiper. Luckily the hospital and clinic have very few on site patients, and the ones they do are simply under quarantine or suffering minor ailments. Requests for each medical personnel to make their way around their residential area to ensure there are no major injuries and tend to those they can. any loss of life found needs to be reported immediately to Dr. Kuiper and the SEALs.

— minor injuries and damages to housing are allowed. please check with us if you are unsure about any plot point.

happy weekend everyone! I’ve got a dumb busy weekend with my birthday this week and my anniversary BUTTTTTTTTTT there are just a few things we need to go over with you all: 

a little reminder on plotting and making sure you are reaching out to each other. we’re a fairly small group so plotting and making an effort with each member is important in order to build relationships between characters. this is especially important for those characters who have specialised roles. these roles are there to help with the plotting process so please make sure you are using them to your advantage. come the harvest or other events that are in the woodwork, these connections will aid you with plot development, so please make sure you are making the effort to come up with plots and communicate with each other. 

As for events, there are two currently being developed. the first is the harvest for the month of October and the second is an extension of the weather update posted last week. We will definitely keep you updated on these. 

LASTLY we are going to throw you all a honesty hour / meme weekend! please feel free to reblog askboxes and ask memes if you’d like to participate.
