Millie Bobby Brown Talks About Skincare, Social Media and Stranger Things

Between acting, running a beauty brand, and being a teenager, she sits down to talk skincare, social media, and Stranger Things.

Firstly, skincare. Florence by Mills will be three years old this August, and Brown has no intentions of stopping this growing empire.

"I don't know anything about skincare. I am the consumer," states Millie Bobby Brown. She's responding to my skepticism of an 18-year-old having a skincare line. With the market inundated with celebrity beauty lines, when a new brand comes on to the scene, one has to wonder, why?

Secondly, social media. After years of seeing what people have to say about her online, Millie has become very picky about what she chooses to share on social media. These days, she doesn't share much of anything from her personal life on Instagram. “You're not going to see that part of me,” she admitted.

Thirdly, Stranger Things. She still enjoys her first job which is acting.

Sydney Sweeney Says They Don't Pay Actors Like They Used To

Sydney Sweeney, The Euphoria actress, spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about her salary and how she feels about money in a new interview.

"They don't pay actors like they used to, and with streamers, you no longer get residuals," Sydney explained. “The established stars still get paid, but I have to give 5 percent to my lawyer, 10 percent to my agents, 3 percent or something like that to my business manager. I have to pay my publicist every month, and that's more than my mortgage."

But she explains that if she just acted, she wouldn’t be able to afford her life in L.A. "I take deals because I have to,” Sydney states.

Despite her recent success, she doesn’t have the income to cover taking a six-month break from acting.

“I don't have someone supporting me, I don't have anyone I can turn to, to pay my bills or call for help." Sydney continued, "I want to have a family, I've always wanted to be a young mom, and I'm worried about how this industry puts stigmas on young women who have children and looks at them in a different light. I was worried that, if I don't work, there is no money and no support for kids I would have.”

Pope Francis visits Canada to apologize for Church's role in residential school abuse

Pope Francis arrived in Canada Sunday on a "pilgrimage of penance" to apologize to Indigenous populations for the Roman Catholic Church's role in the residential school system. From the 19th century until the 1970s, more than 150,000 Indigenous children were taken from their homes and put into residential schools run by Christian churches on behalf of the government to assimilate them. The Handmaid's Tale New Season Releasing Soon

The Handmaid's Tale is an American dystopian television series created by Bruce Miller. The series streams on Hulu. Production began in late 2016. The plot features a dystopia following a Second American Civil War wherein a theonomic, totalitarian society subjects fertile women, called "Handmaids", to child-bearing slavery.

The first three episodes of the series premiered on April 26, 2017; the subsequent seven episodes were released every Wednesday. In July 2019, the series was renewed for a fourth season, which premiered on April 27, 2021. In December 2020, ahead of the fourth season premiere, the series was renewed for a fifth season. The fifth season is set to premiere on September 14, 2022.

Hulu has confirmed that The Handmaid's Tale season 5 will begin on Wednesday, September 14 in the US. Currently, the international release dates have not been announced.

Doja Cat And Noah Schnapp Leaked DM Drama

Doja Cat apparently sent Noah Schnapp a DM on Instagram asking him to hook her up with his friend/actor from Stranger Things Joseph Quinn.

Noah playfully responded by saying "slide into his dm's".

The actor later took to Tiktok and posted a screenshot of their conversation which soon became viral and was later deleted - behavior Doja Cat has since labeled “degrading,” “exploitative,” and “super embarrassing.”

The singer went live and explained the whole situation.

“First let’s be chill about it,” she began. “When you’re that young, you make mistakes,” Doja acknowledged. “You do dumb sh*t.  I’m like trying to be super fair. You make mistakes. I did my share of f*ck-ups so that I don’t f*ck-up again.”

The singer went on, “The fact that Noah did that by posting a private conversation between me and him is so unbelievably socially unaware and whack.

“And I’m not saying that encapsulates his entire personality,” Doja added. “Maybe he is, like, a whole snake. But I didn’t see him that way. I made an assumption that he was gonna be chill about it, and he went and shared information that I didn’t feel comfortable with him sharing.”

Pete Davidson wants kids with Kim Kardashian

After one day of Kim sharing a few pictures with Pete and herself, this offered fans a small glimpse into their romance. Pete later revealed what his dreams are with Kim.

In a clip posted by E! News Pete expresses that he's "a family guy" and hopes to be a father one day.

"My favorite thing ever, which I have yet to achieve, is I want to have a kid. That's like my dream" he said. "I'm so excited for like, that chapter, so like, that's kind of what I'm just preparing for now, is trying to be like as good of a dude, and develop, and get better, so when that happens, it's just easier."

Kim shares her four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, with ex-husband Kanye West, but back in April she hinted that she'd like to have kids with Pete. After being asked if Pete will be around "for a long time or a good time," Kim responded: "All of the above, hopefully."

The Valentino Fall/Winter 22/23 show, actor Florence Pugh wore a halter neck, tulle, hot pink gown that was cinched in at the waisted – head-to-toe styled by Rebecca Corbin-Murray. After receiving some negative comments about her star-studded outfit choice, Flo took to Instagram to respond. She wrote:

Beloved TikTok star Cooper Noriega died after being discovered unconscious outside of Los Angeles on Thursday, June 9. He was 19.

On June 23, TikTok star and singer Nessa Barrett released a new song, “die first,” which she dedicated to Cooper. Tangshan and Xuzhou: Fury and questions over China's treatment of women

It was a busy Friday night at a barbecue restaurant in the Chinese city of Tangshan. A group of women were having dinner together when one of them was approached by a male diner.

Recoiling from his touch, she said "go away". In return, he clubbed her in the head, throwing her to the ground.

His friends then joined him, using chairs and bottles to hit the women, some of whom were then dragged outside and kicked in the head.

It was just the latest example of violence against women that's outraged the Chinese public - in January, news of a woman found chained in a shack sparked similar distress.

Both cases have triggered unprecedented levels of online criticism as well as rare acts of activism. They've also raised questions, particularly among young women, about misogyny and male power.

"It's profoundly disrupted how Chinese people view their own society and specifically, the gender norms and stereotypes underpinning it," said Pichamon Yeophantong, a China researcher at the University of New South Wales.

The man reportedly spent several hours drinking in a local restaurant before he lost the memory stick

For many, after-work drinks are a common way of relaxing after a busy week.

But one worker in Japan could be nursing a protracted hangover after he lost a USB memory stick following a night out with colleagues.

Why? It contained the personal details of nearly half a million people.

The unnamed man placed the memory stick in his bag before an evening of drinking in the city of Amagasaki, north-west of Osaka.

He spent several hours drinking in a local restaurant before eventually passing out on the the street, local media reported.

When he eventually came around, he realised that both his bag and the memory stick were missing.

The Japanese broadcaster NHK reports that the man, said to be in his 40s, works for a company tasked with providing benefits to tax-exempt households.

He had transferred the personal information of the entire city's residents onto the drive on Tuesday evening before meeting colleagues for a night on the town.

City officials said the memory stick included the names, birth dates, and addresses of all the city's residents. It also included more sensitive information, including tax details, bank account numbers and information on families receiving social security.

Luckily for the man, city officials said the data contained on the drive is encrypted and locked with a password. They added that there has been no sign that anyone has attempted to access the information so far.

But the embarrassing incident prompted an apology from officials, with the city's mayor and other leaders bowing in apology to residents.

"We deeply regret that we have profoundly harmed the public's trust in the administration of the city," an Amagasaki city official told a press conference.

Everything We Know About "Gossip Girl" Season 2

It's happening, Upper East Siders!

The cast has already headed back to the Upper East Side. According to Gossip Girl showrunner Joshua Safran, the show began filming on February 4, 2022.

We have yet to hear about an official release date from HBO Max, but it's likely that it will premiere toward the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023. There's a chance there may be a similar hiatus in season 2 since there was in season 1.

We can expect the core cast of Jordan Alexander as Julien, Whitney Peak as Zoya, Zión Moreno as Luna, Savannah Lee Smith as Monet, Emily Alyn Lind as Audrey, Evan Mock as Aki, Thomas Doherty as Max, and Eli Brown as Obie to all return for the second season.
