“Leona, and what might yours be?”
“I’d say so. So, what’s your name, legs?”

“Atlantis - yes. Mars, however, I can wait for. Good things come to those who wait, you know.”
“I’m saying that after Atlantis, we could think about going to Mars. We are not in any way short of time, yes?”

“Are you saying you’d rather go to Mars than see Atlantis again? Or are you attempting to confuse me on your motivations again?”
“It’s been a while.” His index finger sharpens into a single talon, older than time itself. And when it puled itself through the air, it was as if the air warped around it, followed the tug of its own gravity. “There are ways around the travel time.”

“Sounds like a wise-investment then.”
“Well if I’m being truthful, I commissioned something of a pirate ship. I’m not fond of modern boats– so white and plastic looking. There’s something romantic about wood. That sounded like I’m talking about penises, but I’m not.”

“There’s a few important key characteristics missing from that plan to make Mars even a possibility. I’m not quite ready for the demands of a vegetarian diet being one of them.”
“Preferably sometime within this century … Before we get distracted with the prospect of space travel.” He looked over to her curiously, taking the hand and kissing the knuckles of each finger. “You have not ever been to Mars, I presume?”

“And how soon would it be before we could leave? After all, you are a busy man when you aren’t napping,” she teases. Fingers curl under his chin, “I’d let you sleep then. Realistically, that’s a maybe. But I’d make an effort.”
Lips trace the siren’s collarbone affectionately, and finally does the dragon open his eyes, rousing from that light daze he had contented himself with instead of an hibernating slumber. “I could take you to Atlantis. I have not been back, ever since its fall.”

“And what kind of boat was this that you bought?”
“Considering I bought a boat with the proceeds, I’d say so.”

“Well I’m not sure specifically, if I did that’d ruin the fun.” Her lips press against his forehead. “I just want a change of scenery. Somewhere we don’t have something set up already. I just want ... different, even if we stay inside the whole time.”
His eyes remained closed as he adjusted himself against her smaller frame, burying his face in the crook of her neck. “Like what?” Sometimes all a dragon wanted was a century-long nap.

“Well that must be an absolutely exquisite painting then.”

“You look like you’ve fallen out of one of my paintings.” See, it’s funny ‘cause…

“I get stir-crazy.” This fish was too big for walls. “And there’s still so much for us try - new things for us to do that no one else has done.”
“We went out a week ago. What are you talking about?” Hei still has not remove his head from her shoulder where he laid quite comfortably.

esotxricism:
As she mentioned that, the same masked servants made their way in to clear empty plates and cups, some bringing towels and a robe for the siren. All of them the same height, the same size, just with a notch in a different spot on their masks. “Only technically.”
She looked up at the strangers and smiled, “Thank you.” The siren took it as a sign to pull out of the water once more. Hands pressed into the ground as she hoisted her torso above the water. “Do they speak?” she asked, eyes directed at Hei. “It must get awful lonesome if they don’t.” The blonde hoisted her tail out of the water, laying it curved on the dry surface. Hands plucked a towel from the pile and pressed it gently against her scales. Her gaze stayed directed on the mysterious man, chin rested on her shoulder as her back faced him.

“It gets quiet around here. A new personality would do this place good.” He rapped the stone that made up the floor, and the rest of the villa with a knuckle. He shrugged his shoulders, gesturing out to the wide expanse of the ocean that this little pool led out to. “You can leave any time you wish. When you’ve received your strength back, or when you become stronger than you originally were.”
“Huh.” The offer took a moment to process. A strange and grande gesture for a stranger to gift to a fellow stranger. It only feels more foreign in her thoughts than it did on her ears. A siren to be either feared or disgusted in, not a thing to welcome into your home unless under false pretenses. “Does anyone else live here with you?”
