#my absolute favorite thing about nate and sophie is how much delight they take in each other's ability to manipulate #sophie is never more attracted to nate then when he's moving people around the chessboard #nate is never more enamored of sophie than when she's convincing people to open doors for her with a look or a touch #when she's acting the part or when she has to suddenly shift plans and does so seamlessly #they don't have a lot of illusions about what they are and what it is they do (even if leverage inc does them for the right reasons) #so there's just the terribleness and the glee and the love #my terrible film noir darlings #you know i'm no good
