‘No one wants to write with me’

Dear role players, the ones who actively convince themselves that people never want to write with them. To the ones who, day after day, write things along the lines of…

“No one would care if I vanished.”

“No one ever wants to write with me.”

“Does anyone even like my blog”

“Nobody likes my character”

“Everyone hates my blog”

“Would anyone even notice if I left”

“If I left everyone would probably just forget about me and my character”

… It’s not that people dislike you or your blog. It’s not that people avoid your blog. It’s not even that people don’t care. Sometimes people are just busy, blogs are hectic and desires doesn’t always line up with schedules. Though, sometimes it also boils down to the ugly truth; what sort of vibe your blog gives off, which vibes you as a person/author give off. 

     If a writer is actively exposed to such things, even after trying to initiate something, the truth is that they might end up being turned off writing with your blog — not because they dislike you, necessarily, but because such behavior makes them feel worthless, as if their attempts at interacting isn’t good enough. Therefore this is a daily reminder to think twice before actively posting something related to such things; you have a network around you, people who adore your blog and those who admire your work. Even in the darkest of times, there’ll always be someone who is willing to provide light.

The mage joked, and gave him an amused smirk. It sure would be a very one-sided conversation! But good to know that he was actually adjusting his temperatur for others… Wait that almost sounded like-

“ Hold on! Damn! Are you telling me you are basically a heater? “

And that thought actually made Lilli laugh. Him being just like a radiator, a deadly one but nevermind that, was somehow funny to her. Her laughing ceased quickly though, and the woman stared as he just pulled a bag of chips from nowhere. 

“ Heh, man, I vish I could just summon food from nowhere. Zhat sounds like such an useful skill. “

She would summon so much fast food.

The Auditor rolled his eyes, unsurprised by the lighthearted jab at him. Of course, he’d heard it before. All sorts of comments about his true shape have been tossed his way numerous times. Being called a heater, even in jest, wasn’t a sore spot by any real means. 

“Yes yes, I suppose you could say that. Then again it’s just like how you can’t feel that your body is ninety degrees until your temperature drops quite significantly. That’s the case that I must live with.” 

There was a glance at the bag of chips. 

“It helps when I haven’t eaten in a few days. I don’t need to eat really but sometimes I like to treat myself.”

Stygian was absolutely ecstatic to hear from his most beloved creation. He always was. Chaser was his magnum opus and perfect in every way he could fathom.

That was the reason he created Vivisector after all. Two perfect creations that could rival the real things. Just needed to figure out Sanford and Deimos. Their closeness was an idea.

“ I mean, I guess it’s colder zhan vhat you are used to, eh? Humans aren’t really zhat cold zhough… I mean, I am an exception of course. “

Because she was always cold. Colder than a normal human. But at this point Lilli barely felt the cold anymore, and neither did it bothered her that much. Just sometimes when it got really bad. 

“ Vell, not everything is bad about being mortal! “

Not that everything was good either. But it probably was weird for him as he usually wasn’t mortal.

“ And if you get hungry, I can get you something I guess? “

“Much much colder. What you would consider normal heat for a fire would be around where I am normally. Of course, I do adjust it around others. Rather they not melt during conversation, you understand.” 

“As for food, I should be fine.” The Employer drew a hand over the halo, pulling away a small flame that withered away to be replaced with a small bag of chips. “I don’t do it often but it’s rather convenient when I want to treat myself.”
