Write a story with the title, "Abandoned".
It stared inside the window of the house, watching the family jovially go about their dinner time. They consisted of one child who looked younger than an adolescent yet older than one of weening age, and two parents: a mother and father. That scene was a lot like what it had once experienced, in that very house centuries ago, but due to some reasons unknown to anyone ever, it no longer had a family. It was damned to roam the town filled with life, when it itself was nothing near alive.
It watched with -- not a sense of savage jealousy -- a jealousy in which it desired to go back to that time of affable childhood, wherein it was once cared for and doted upon by its parents. Were they even considered parents, it wondered? It was so small when they both died, would they have even finished the stages of parenting? It barely remembered its life. It was so young when everything was taken from it, it was so young when it had to wait for ages for its mother and father to return, until it understood they never will return, never awaken from their slumber.
It remembered so vividly, the night where its mother frantically pushed it into a room, slamming shut the door, and its father guard the very door, followed up by a series of shouts and pleads and unpleasant words and a sound of swords being drawn by their scabbards and a sound of something sharp cutting through a thick material. It remembered peering around the room inquisitively and frightened by the cacophony, until a very odd stench hit its nose after a time; a stench known to those who visited the butcher or a mortician regularly. Its innocent, naΓ―ve self did not know what the stench was back then, but now... now, after witnessing and experiencing hundreds of tragic events, it knew.
It remembered hearing silence. The room was fairly empty, save for the atmosphere within. It remembered sitting down against the wall like a good child for so long, waiting for its mother or father to bring it back into the open, and it remembered feeling hungry and thirsty and hesitantly getting up to get its water and some bread.
It remembered standing on its toes to reach the door-knob, and stumble outside. It remembered its small, bare feet stepping into a rather thick liquid, every step taken by it making a sick, squelching sound. It remembered seeing the resting bodies of its mother and father -- father protectively on top of the mother. It saw their eyes open in an odd fashion; pensive. It tapped its mother. Nothing. Her head lolled to the side, mouth open as if to call for help, but only a crimson liquid dropped on the floor. It tried to pull its father off as well, but to no avail. It was starting to get hungry, and the sky was darkening even more than possible. It remembered feeling fear and fright and worry.
It remembered being so small, it was unable to reach the bread and water that was just on the table. Had it been any taller, it would have easily reached the two appetisers. However, there was no hope to be found, and it remembered crying. It cried for its mother to come cut a piece of bread, it cried for its father to life it and place it on the table with a hearty laugh. It cried, and no one heard. It cried, and no one listened, no one opened the door, no one took the child.
Eventually, the crying died down, and hunger and thirst grew so strong the child felt fatigued. It wanted to go sleep in its cot, but it was too small for that, and it was too scared to sleep alone, so it climbed on top of its mother and next to its father and closed its eyes; only, it never opened them again.
Currently, after all the grievances, it was staring into the window of the house where it lost a home, watching another child like itself find a home there. A thunderous, mourning, grieving, gentle jealousy flooded through its heart, mind and soul. Why was fate such that certain people lived a fulfilling life, while others lived a pathetic life? Why was life so filled with misery to the unfortunate, but filled with lavish luxuries to the fortunate?
Why did it have to go through such loss, and this child within the safety of the house that was once clearly not so safe, go through no loss yet?
Why did it have to be left all alone with none to call its own, with none to cry to, with none to complain to?
Why was it left alone for the sins of its parents, and not itself?

Just a bit of an intro: must read if you want to interact with me. It's long, but please, I need this help for my GCSEs.
I am a student who made this blog to improve on my language skills, mainly for my upcoming exam next year.
The exam will be GCSE English Language, Paper 1, Section B, where I will be given a picture to describe and a prompt to write about -- essentially, I would have to choose either of the two.
Upon following advice from my teachers, I have decided to choose writing upon the basis of a prompt, as picture-descriptions would need to be pretty exact and I'm not quite confident in that area.
Just to brief anyone willing to help me (whether you're in the UK or not), I will give the foundations for the story and how it should be answered: around 5-6 paragraphs centring on the description/ prompt, written by the student.
(24 marks): Focuses on clear communication, effective expression, and imaginative writing. You’ll need to select an appropriate tone, style, and register for the given form and audience.
(16 marks): Technical accuracy, punctuation, sentence structures, grammar.
If you haven't read my bio, I prefer writing on the basis of Gothic Lit or Horror, so if you give me a prompt no matter how comedic or jovial it sounds, I will twist it to write it in these styles. I apologise in advance, because I simply cannot write any other genre without steering away from the topic. Maybe when I'm done with my GCSEs I would try out writing about different genres.
This blog isn't only for me, but for anyone who wants to improve on their language skills, so please give me any corrections or improvements in order for me (and anyone else) to make my English teacher happy with my grade at least once.
Also, a few brief rules:
I won't write about anything political in the real world. If it's a prompt about some other world that is fictional, I won't mind.
Prompts can be of any topic, however I would like them to not have any NSFW topics. I am not 18+, and if you expose me to that, I will report you.
If you're requesting, don't give me a paragraph based on what you want, because that's not what the exam does. Give me something like a word or a particular opening phrase. e.g., "Write a story with the title, 'xyz'" or "Write a story about a sense of 'xyz'" or "Write a story with the opening line, 'abc def ghi. jkl mno pqr.'" etc. I think you get the idea.
If you're going to give me a mark for whichever story I've written, please link it and tell me what to improve on and your feedback.
My stories will be written best to my ability, and will be only 5-6 paragraphs. There won't be any "part 2s" until I've finished all my exams, which is to say, about a year.
Thank you!
