Eclipsed Rings

Your eyes are closed when you take my hand in yours; Somewhere in your mind you know you crave my touch, Like the safety blanket you clutched so closely as a child.

You lace our fingers together like the perfect braid, Sun and moon rings brush softly against each other- An eclipse held between our hands.

The sun dances on your finger, warming both of us- A commentary of what my world revolves around. My heart has been yours- My hands belong to you.

Nothing has felt so soft within my grip before, Like a wave of comfort coating my entire being.

There is comfort in the silence that surrounds us, Light that is found in the blackness of the night; Balance is restored by what is held between my fingers- Touch is gentle, Grip is tight.

Dubai rainstorm. The worst since 23 years ago... pero work pa din. Tatak imortal daw kasi ang mga OFW. LOL.

I can't complain though as I'm just sitting in a cozy office with tea ladies waiting on me when I'd like to take my coffee and whether or not I'd like to have milk and sugar in it.

In the meantime, construction workers are also still working despite the rain and strong winds.

Despite everything, I am still blessed.
