Paint & Sip (APRIL 27TH @ 6PM-RT/MG)

As an esteemed member of The Society Circle, we cordially invite you to our semi-annual Paint & Sip gathering, taking place at our specially arranged studio. All necessary supplies for crafting your artistic masterpiece will be readily available. Our Host Artist for the evening will guide you through the painting process with expert instructions. To enhance the ambiance, wine will be offered throughout the event. However, if wine isn't to your preference, feel free to BYOB of drink of choice.

We can chat over voice while painting with digital paint-by-numbers!

This is an IC, as well as an OOC Event! For our first paint and sip, we're excited to announce that we've partnered with Allie from The Daily Color Studio who specializes in paint-by-numbers pieces. The featured artwork for our April 27th event will be this stunning Sea Turtle.

We have reserved licensing and information for 10 participants, including Skerth (The event's host). If you're interested in attending this event and participating in the OOC aspect, please sign up as soon as possible at our Discord. On the day of the event, you will receive detailed instructions.

SHOUT OUT TO THE SERPENT'S DEN!

The Serpent's Den has pledged to donate $1 for each sale of their RP Specialty Drink, named Hopeful Horizon, to support the actual fundraiser for ⁠St. Jude Children's Research at the end of the event.

Get ready for an immersive experience as GiGi hosts another charity event but this time focusing on the improvement of the survival rates of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases worldwide through the sharing of knowledge, magic, and technology. Bring the kids along! A children's fundraiser event wouldn't be complete without some delightful childlike entertainment. Darkmoon's Finest will be on hand with games and attractions to ensure the little ones have a great time. Feel free to join in on the fun or explore the attractions yourself. All proceeds generated from this event will be directed towards the Saint Mereldar Children's Research Hospital program, supporting their cause. (This is IC RP proceeds not actual gold transactions.)

We are thrilled to announce that The Society Circle has organized an exciting Drawing Contest exclusively for our local artists on our server. The challenge? Crafting a fresh community logo and having a chance to win $100!!

This logo will be featured in all our creatives within our server but could also find its way into community future merchandising!**

To participate, follow these steps:

Artists must be a member of our community on Discord.

Submit a sketch of the logo, showcasing your artistic prowess into GiGi's Discord DMs. (This sketch should accompanied by an example of one of your finished art pieces to see the style of rending used.)

All submissions must be entered by November 15th, 2023.

Logo Requirements

We would like something with a Circle involved of course, and something that symbolizes community/society. Whatever you think that maybe.

The Society Circle, is a hub for RPers and WoW Players; as well as fandom artists. I like to believe it is well rounded and we would like a symbol that embodies that.

Logo Colors are #920729 and #f7c90b

If possible create the logo sizes that are compatible with printing as well as media (since we plan to have merchandising in the future). Here is a link to some Sizing Guidelines if needed.

The Moderation Team will vote.

The winner of this will be announced server-wide on Discord.

Once the winner is picked then the artist could move on and finish the art piece, which we will showcase server-wide as well on other media platforms, giving the artist recognition.

The artist will also win the fantastic prize of $100.

Please be aware that the artist's identities will remain confidential and known only to GiGi, in order to eliminate any potential biases, as suggested by one of our Inner Circle members. Every artist who submits their work to GiGi will be assigned a Contestant Number, which will be the identifier used by the moderation team until the winner is announced. We wish all of you the best of luck.

** The Society Circle would like to explore possibilities in real-world merchandise opportunities; and such aspirations are not driven by a desire for profit. Upon the contest's conclusion and the creation of the final logo, TSC will negotiate with the winning artist, offering any relevant profit margin; if a profit margin cannot be circumvented entirely. The inclusion of the phrase "but could also find its way onto community future merchandising!" is a reflection of our intent to engage in ongoing discussions with the winner regarding potential merchandising opportunities. While merchandising is a potential, it does not guarantee a definitive end result.
