Ksiaz Castle - Home of Princess Daisy of Pless, who refurbished the castle and added terraces and magnificent gardens. She had a small house built in the gardens for her private use. 

Much to her chagrin, and owing to her husband’s prominence in the Prussian army, she often found herself the unwilling hostess of Kaiser Wilhelm II before and during the First World War. Her memoirs are highly recommended.

So Sarah Latham was hired to spear head this global philanthropy mumbo jumbo and now has to report to the Queen’s Secretary? Hmmm. I don’t see her lasting....

I bet she leaves by the fall, after the “US tour,” and joins Cory Booker’s campaign or something like that.  That’s what most of the aides are doing. They clock in one big project (Wedding for Melissa, Princess makeover for Sam, tour for the RPO, cooking book for Amy) for the resume and then they hightail it out of there as fast as they possibly can and move on to bigger and better things.

I get why Meghan & her sugars expected a separate court/office because they’re crazy, but I don’t get what made Harry think that they’d get this. I know that Harry is known to be a bit dim & spoiled, but if all other spares have fallen under BP, why would HE expect/think otherwise? Is he as delusional as his wife thinking they will be such a global superpower that gan-gan would forget how everything has been done in the past and say may the force be with you as you take over global word salad?

I suspect a big part of Meghan’s appeal for him was her “but why the fuck not because what the hell would they do to us?” attitude, which started right out of the gate with the KP statement, which was done behind Charles’ back and which Will did not agree with.

I think that impressed Harry enormously. She’d gotten his family to back down. I think he loved that. 

And I don’t think he was wrong to be impressed. She has balls of steel. She got the relationship approved despite all her dirt, she got to do interviews, she got to merch, she got to do a ton of things that Harry never tought a royal girlfriend/spouse of his would ever be able to do. 

Everyone thought that there were all these protocols and rules that had to be followed and Meghan showed us all that they were just mirages. There are no rules and there are no consequences. 

So why wouldn’t she also get the Di emeralds, and Frogmore House, and a separate court? He probably thought the sky was the limit after she had all that wedding drama and still ended up with Charles walking her down the aisle.

Now it has turned out that there are some consequences, like a small house and getting kicked out of KP, but I think Harry is still dazzled by the US press and the media attention and he probably hasn’t figured out that he should care about those.
