for this poll, ace-spec refers to someone who is not fully (for lack of a better word) asexual, but is on the asexual spectrum. aro-spec refers to the same, but with the aromantic spectrum. this could refer to gray-aspecs, as well as any microlabels you use that you feel are better described as aspec rather than asexual or aromantic.

betty's blunt and doesnt usually use greetings between civilians, but more formal correspondence would have her addressing the one she's corresponding with:

to her friends, she might sign off with:

her sister's way of writing is similarly straight forward, but usually referring to the person's title or profession:

mathilde prefers writing correspondence in norwegian to a few she knows speak and understand it, but in english she simply signs off with:

how do your characters open & sign off their letters?? does it change depending on their feelings/closeness to who they're writing to? tell me your thoughts i wanna know👀

twitch always opens theirs with some variation of "ahoy and good morrow to you, my [some kind of bizarre adverb+title they've assigned you]" and Always signs off with "Ciao! ~Capt. Twitchery" no variation, no matter how they feel

grace addresses letters with "dearest [title/surname]" and always signs off with "Your obedient servant, Lt.Grace." he doesn't change it often, but if you somehow push him to using "kind regards" then he fucking hates you. if you somehow get him to use "regards" it's because he thinks you should be dead

Today in Fallen London

The Admiralty has done it again! There's a second explosive ghost ship drifting towards London who's cargo must be shipped off to a very deep hole in the Zee.

Who's packing these ships to the gills with explosives? Should we be worried by the amount of munitions we're sending to the Fathomking? Why is the Admiralty so happy to send this cargo out with known Zee pirates? How many of those pirates will inevitably explode? Don't worry about it.
