i think this is a very good summary and calling into question a lot of alex's other victims claims.

idk it just seems like a lot of these victims reek of trans misogynistic bullshit, and assuming the worst of alex's actions. they're using alex's gender expression as a weapon against them, which ofc we have learned from tumblr: presenting feminine as amab isn't inherently sexual. PLUS a lot of these victims claims are unsubstantiated, and these victims do not communicate boundaries with alex, and even SUPPORT alex in alex's actions.

you cannot call someone out on crossing boundaries when you never state boundaries in the first fucking place, and even condone these behaviors.

oh also. one other thing I’ve noticed about the kister situation is the immediate ocification of his characters and world as an excuse to still enjoy his work. i don't know much about the mandela catalogue but i will say this: what that guy (whose name i've already forgotten) did wrong was engage in fetishization without telling others about his clothing/crossdressing fetish, do this with minors, and date a 16 year old and sext them.

having a "weird" or nontraditional kink/fetish is not inherently evil or wrong. being hypersexual also isn't inherently evil or wrong, though it can be unhealthy for the individual dealing with this.

quite honestly, the things he did to the writer of that document were worded very incomprehensibly, but only unethical thing i really think he did to them was use them like a therapist for an extended period of time after breaking up and refusing to get an actual therapist in lieu of using this person. other than that, it just seems like both parties or at least one party got bored of the relationship. this happens sometimes in adult relationships. it sucks but it doesn't make someone a bad person.
