Bloody Bunny Tribute Post

**seizure warning for video**

In an October a few years back was when I first discovered the legend that is Bloody Bunny.

I was feeling under the weather and it made me want to see something bloody and violent, so I simply youtube'd 'bloody cartoon'.

Little did I know what that search would bring me.

It was like love at first sight. Riff Studio created something so freakin' dope I was instantly hooked. I saw The First Blood pretty much nonstop after that, probably remember seeing it over 10 times that first night I found it.

It was everything I love the most; dark with kawaii, irreverent in its parody, badass as all hell, the whole nine.

Then these crazy mofos said they were actually turning it into a video game and I dropped my guts.

So when that finally came out 2 years ago, I played it nonstop haha. That's where all the game footage on this blog came from.

I did a million runs through this thing, trying to cheese with each weapon on its own. (it's possible. Yes, even with throwing knife, which is basically like a cannon)

After having my fun, 2023 rolled around and said it's year of the rabbit, so this blog was born to celebrate.

Didn't get around to posting until March I think, so I spent February making this music video.

And I'd be lying if I said this wasn't fun as hell to work on. The outline was insane and seeing it come to life was dope af. It's still not even finished ... because I'm not a music video expert lol.

So I hope all you bloody bunnies have been enjoying all the Bunny content that you've seen here and everywhere it is, there's still some more before the next lunar new year.

Dark Rabbit DLC Speculation Update

To any BB fans who didn't know, the Bloody Bunny game's launch was delayed. It was first expected to launch by the developer, Quantum Peaks/DIDTC, in mid-2019, then 2020. It was finally published in March 2021 and the dlc announced at the end of that same month.

Now learning it was delayed twice, I think maybe the dlc is also experiencing delay, so maybe we possibly can look to a later launch than expected. The only date they posted was 20 ... xx. 20XX. Imo, it shoulda been 202X so we know it's finna come out during the decade at least.

I wasn't even expecting to dig all this up today but came across it. Quantum Peaks did a new year's post featuring the game alongside another rabbit game for year of the rabbit and I saw they were promoting the hell out of it at expos in 2022, so hopefully that means the dark rabbit dlc's still somewhere in the pipeline. This year would've been thematically perfect to launch it, but well let's see.
