Heaven Runs On Oil

I think this song is about war. Really I payed more attention to the guitar in this. For a 5 minute song with lots of lyrics it sure manages to say nothing at all.

The chorus is pretty catchy. I have no idea what it’s trying to say. But it’s good.

The Studded Cinctures

The more emo sounding of all these songs. Maybe because this is about emo bands and their relationship with their girl fans. When really the bands suck.

Really this is a fuck you to the bands in the scene. Of how they’re all assholes with charisma, gelled hair, and use this to gain popularity rather than their musical talent. It’s almost like the talent never really mattered in the first place. Sure it got them there but it’s not what’s keeping them there.

There’s also this weird scream/ moan. Freaked me out the first time I heard it.

In The Bathroom Is Where I Want You To Be.

We are back to the sleazy guy songs! I mean the whole point is the fact he’s usually not so “out there” sexually but meeting this girl he knew he had to make a move. I guess this is a start to a future love song.

The gothic guitar and pianos are great.

Honorable mention: the lyric: “I’m not that kind of man but i’ll make an exception for you.”

Overall 8/10.
