I wanted to get some content out but I’m too busy to do headcanons

Eagle Flies wasn’t one to confess his feelings. He won’t confess, but it lies between the pages of unsaid words and longing gazes. He doesn’t confess yet; he plays with your fingers from under the table as you go out to eat with him and Paytah. He’ll never say he loves you, yet the moment you open your arms for an embrace, he’s holding you like he needs it to live. He buries his face into the crook of your neck and grips the fabric of your shirt as if he’s afraid you’ll melt away.

Sometimes when he wakes up from a nap, he spends his lips in your arms, and you swear it’s what he wants to say. “I love you” or something of the sort, but he doesn’t. Instead, he pushes himself away.

Loving Eagle Flies is complex. You’ve known him for so long, yet a part of you wishes he’d change and just spit those words out. You wish he would get over his issues and just hold you without fear of tainting you with his issues. Yet you settle for the unspoken moments. He barks out a laugh as he lifts you when the rez dogs sprint towards you both. How he placed his hand on yours while he drove, the tips of his ears pink, though he insists it’s a habit from his hookups, you know. You know it’s not.

You’ve never kissed. It’s as if it’s the only thing keeping Eagle Flies from ruining this. His lips ghost over yours, his breath tickling over them, before he shoves himself away. As if you burned him or he suddenly remembered he had better things to do. His hands never travel to places untouched by the sun. The most intimate way he’ll go is by touching your hips or waist. Though his fingers clench ever so slightly, As if he’s struggling not to pull away or go further.

His words get harsher as well while you stay in this routine. A routine of looking at one another the way friends don't. There are some moments when he stares at you like he wants you to say something or do something, but the moment you start, he cuts you off.

The moment he lets his walls down, it isn't romantic. It might be the opposite. He grabs onto you when you try to leave, tears in his eyes. He has just spoken so cruelly to you, yet the way tears glisten in his lower lashes, you'd assume you were the one who yelled at him. His words are shaky, and he croaks them out, begging you to stay. And you do.

Right before his mom and brother died he had a crush on a girl and then when they died and she tried to comfort him at the funeral he lashes out on her

It’s one of the main reasons he doesn’t get attached

He hurts the people he loves

Puts a lil bit of hot sauce on nearly everything he eats

Loves any food that’s made in a truck or a shitty restaurant

Looks the best in candid photos because if anyone tries to get a picture of him with his knowledge he’s suddenly tense

Once he got a kitten down from a tree when he was in his teens and now a lot of aunties from the Rez call him super man

He’s been getting Superman birthday gifts from them for years

Likes joining his friends to do “girly” things

Like one of his friends needs help picking out a nail polish for his girlfriend

Suddenly he had a degree in this and he wants to help

Likes to lean over people’s shoulders to see what they’re doing on their phone

Loved teenage mutant ninja turtles growing up!!!!!

Has dressed up as all of them

Forced his dad to be splinter

Has the dumbest “heh heh heh” types of laugh sometimes

Has the biggest pride in his signature but no one cares

He’d been willing to share things more but he’s still hesitant

But he also realizes it’s just him trying to see his mom in everyone

He invites you to meet his dad sooner and rains fall loves you!

He forms an emotional bond a bit faster

Like becoming his friend is a lot easier because he’s not comparing you to bad memories

However does get more protective

Kinda wants to look out for you a bit more

If you go to the Rez he goes get a jealous and shamelessly asks you to only look at him

He cannot compete with some of them

I think the relationship would be somewhat softer

Like he’s relieved you understand him and he’s willing to indulge a bit more

Like I understand bills character. I feel for him HOWEVER I will never ever excuse bills horrible actions. If you defend bill you’re ignoring all the horrible things just because he’s a goofy guy. Never excuse racism. There’s other “horrible” characters you can defend.

Also Bill mocks him about Sonny. Some of you cannot read between the lines. Sometimes characters can be dimensional. They can be goofy and a bit depressing yet can also be bad people. Not everyone with a tragic backstory is gonna be defendable and that’s okay.

What?

Bill calls Javier a slur in the same way white people try to say the n word around black people to "relate" to them. He's not being malicious when he says it. Just ignorant. Sure, he gets in Javier's face at one point, but he was drunk, and again it feels like a "joke" that just went too far.

The only group Bill is truly prejudiced towards are the native americans and that's because he literally has ptsd from being in the army during the fight against the natives. He talks about how he saw horrible things during the fighting, and it's clear that it's fucked up his perception. As it would literally anyone.

And where are you guys getting the impression that Bill is a rapist?

"He knows Sonny" and? So does Arthur? Sonny was probably trying to lure Bill in as well, but Bill refused to enter the house. I highly doubt Sonny just told him "Yeah I met your friend. I raped him." Bill was probably under the impression that Arthur had sex with him willingly.

"What about Bonnie?"

Bill is literally gay! And by the time Bill's gang had Bonnie, Bill had already left for Mexico to meet Javier. Sure, his men may have raped her, but I highly doubt Bill told them "Yeah it's fine. Go ahead and rape her." Like wtf? He probably had no clue what they were doing.

Is Bill and advocate for torture and murder? Yes. But rape? I don't think he's that evil.

Steve Palmer literally said in an interview that Bill is just a goofy guy who wants to be respected and fit in with the others (in rdr2) but he's constantly the butt of every joke and never taken seriously.
