This is very dumb bc Illumi refers to Alluka as his "otouto" - "younger brother" in chapter 320, the Zoldyck butlers refer to Alluka as "bocchan" (meaning young master-a male gendered word) yet Killua very clearly says "Alluka is a GIRL!!" in chapter 324, in both japanese and english so like..... this has nothing to do with her family treating her as a thing and this is not a translation error it's very deliberate what r they on

Now that time has passed, are you still just as sure that killugon will become canon?

You know what, as time passes, I grow even more certain that it will, because societal restrictions are slowly crumbling. There's a shitton of openly gay characters and relationships in Japanese media now, so there won't be as much backlash as there could've been years ago. In that sense, hiatus has been a blessing hahaha, and I really do believe Togashi meant for Killua and Gon's story to be romantic since the beginning.
