#the first thing that is always said abt Black social activists is that Russia must be behind us speaking out against inequality#yall rlly run w antiblackness on here like its the gospel
Within minutes of saying that lagonegirl was a real person I got three vicious notes and a white liberal used an article about unrelated shenanigans to 'prove' that she is not.
It is not difficult to assume that white liberals need this to be true in order to justify their racist genocides and failure to protect their own families from the police and politicians they pay to rob, torture, jail or simply execute Black people.
This website's culture is a perfect example of how trusting in whites, trusting liberals, to protect the future has created a living hell in the present. It does not matter if they believe they're "not racist". They are the world's foremost elite corps of racist voices.
America's liberals are the most highly educated and wealthiest slave drivers in the history of the world.

Shout out to all the Black ppl that can no longer participate directly in the fandom they love because of the stresses of racism 👍🏾 you contain multitudes of value and I'm sorry that the color of your skin and the power of your voice makes people not want to acknowledge that.

It would be a relief to find out that the CIA pays mid white bloggers to spread racism and paranoia in credulous readerships of tumblr, selecting the ones they know won't encounter pushback or scrutiny, but sadly, this is most likely just a normal reactionary's volunteer bigotry:
"Because some of you think that a leftist space can be trusted. They can’t. Lagonegirl posted content that had nothing to do with politics, it made her seem like a real person."
She was and is a real person.

The centering of white women’s voices in the conversation around the Texas abortion laws is plainly unconscionable. It is the votes of white women that continue to allow white men to determine the conditions under which black and non black women of color live. Left only up to women of color, this type of legislation would never be viable. It is the votes of white women that continue to ensure that white men remain the deciding party. So to decentralize race in this conversation, and then to further centralize the voices of not only the group of women who will be least affected by this legislation, but also the group of women who continue to propel this type of legislation forward is in and of itself an indefensible act of racism.
At what point do white women step outside of their self victimization and begin the conversation about accountability? At what point do white women acknowledge that this conversation is not only an issue of patriarchy but primarily an issue of white supremacy?
White women have incredible voting power in the United states and yet they continue to hand their votes writ large to white men who will act against the interests of all women in an interest in preserving their status as white people.
So I blame white women for this legislation just as much as I blame white men. After all, even met with one of their own, the majority of white women voted in favor of Donald Trump over Hillary Clinton (extremely derogatory) ensuring two conservative judges would be appointed to the Supreme Court. After all, it was a white woman, RBG (derogatory) who refused to relinquish her seat on the Supreme Court in order for Barrack Obama to appoint a liberal judge. Had it not been for the votes of white women, we almost assuredly would be sitting with a democratic senate, a democratic house, and a democratic scotus. The latter of which may have actually bothered to step up to stop this from happening.
But as it stands, white women have yet again ensured that white men will now dictate the conditions under which all women live. And so I would ask that we decentralize white women as victims in this conversation and instead begin the conversation of accountability.
It’s long over due.
I would also ask that we centralize the voices of black and non black women of color in this conversation as we are the ones who suffer under these institutions the most.

2010s Black Tumblr didn't die organically. It was killed. Not just by staff, not just by the porn ban, but by the white userbase as well. Black bloggers were (and still are) being mass-reported and harassed off the platform constantly. White Tumblr users would post gore in problack tags, racefake left and right in Black people's askbox, pick random AAVE to call racist/misogynistic/transphobic, etc then get the Black people who were nice enough to explain what it means to them mass reported for harassment, the list goes on.

Heroes & Villains The DC Animated Universe - Paper Cut-Out Portraits and Profiles
The Green Lantern
John Stewart spent much of his youth in the care of his uncle and among his fondest memories was reading Justice Guild of America comics after school.  He went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps where was a decorated soldier.  Some time thereafter, Stewart was recruited by the Guardians of the Universe to join the Green Lantern Corps.
Green Lanterns were bestowed an energy ring fueled by one’s will that could create powerful, hard-light constructs.  Stewart trained under the veteran Lantern, Katma Tui, learning to wield these awesome powers.
Eventually Stewart was assigned the Green Lantern guardian of Sector 2814, a region of space that included earth.  This allowed him to return to his home planet and, shortly after his return, Stewart was telepathically contacted by the Martian, J’onn J’onzz.  Hailing the call, Stewart joined the other heroes of earth in forming The Justice League so to fend off the invading forces of The Imperium.
Stewart continued on as a member of the League, growing especially close with his teammate, Hawkgirl.  The two become romantically involved yet their affair was cut short when Hawkgirl was reveled to be a sleeper agent for a Thanagarian invasion force.
Hawkgirl would eventually betray her own people so to help save the earth.  Although she and Stewart remained greatly attracted to one another, a trust had been broken and Stewart was reluctant to once more opening himself up to heartbreak.  There is significant reason to believe the two ultimately worked through these issue, however, in that an adventure involving time-travel saw Stewart meeting his and Hawkgirl’s adult son, Warbird.
Voice actor extraordinaire, Phil LeMar, provided the voice for John Stewart with the Lantern first appearing in the second episode of the first season of Justice League, ‘Secret origins Part Two.’
